A Maricopa mom in a pickup truck led police on a chase through north Scottsdale yesterday morning resulting in multiple wrecks, injured police officers, and the woman getting Tasered -- all with three kids in the truck.

The wild ride started about 6 a.m. when a Scottsdale police officer watched 29-year-old Rebekah Lynn Corwin in a parking lot near Carefree Highway and Scottsdale Road. According to police, Corwin didn't know where she was and appeared confused.

When the officer approached Corwin's truck, she revved her engine and rammed it into the police cruiser, barely missing the officer.

Five cars, a fire hydrant, and three landscaped yards. That's what an Avondale motorist hit on what police describe as a "path of destruction" Friday afternoon.

When he was done wreaking havoc on Avondale roadways, 34-year-old Justin Fernandez parked his mangled car in his own garage -- with car parts and destruction acting as bread crumbs for Avondale cops, who arrested him shortly after his wild ride came to an end.

If you're like us, you made the unfortunate decision to travel west on Interstate 10 on Saturday night without the prior knowledge that there was a massive, 69-car wreck about two miles in front of you.

While sitting in traffic, we received an email from the Phoenix Police Department explaining the situation -- and it became clear we'd be sitting in traffic for a while.

When we got home, we checked out some of the local news coverage of the wreck (check out some of KPHO's coverage here) and were instantly reminded of one of the more hilariously-morbid, traffic wrecks in cinematic history.

Check it out after the jump.   More »

Cut a Guy Off, Get Shot in The Face; Police Searching for Suspect in Road Rage Shooting

Phoenix is starting to live up to its "streets of rage" reputation.

Early this morning, police say a Phoenix man cut another man off with his car near West Indian School Road and North 51st Avenue just after midnight.

Given Phoenix's No. 6 ranking on the list of cities with the worst road rage, the man must have had a death wish.

Police say that after the incident, the drivers of both cars involved in the seemingly capital offense of cutting someone off, began chasing each other.

That's when things took a turn for the absurd.
