Charges Won't Be Filed Against Former Valley Swim Coach Greg Winslow

Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery announced yesterday that sex-abuse charges won't be filed against former University of Utah swim coach Greg Winslow.

Winslow, who was just recently let go from his post in Utah, was accused of sexually abusing a teenage girl while he was the coach of a high-school-age swim team that practices at Arizona State University.

Baseball fans at Chase Field got to see a rare event Saturday night -- a benches-clearing brawl in which the players actually brawled.

Canada and Mexico were facing off in pool play in the World Baseball Classic, when an apparent misunderstanding of the rules led to the fight.

ASU Police File Sex-Abuse Case Against Swim Coach Now at University of Utah

The University of Utah's head swimming coach is accused of sexually abusing a teenage girl while he was the coach of an elite swim team that practices at Arizona State University.

Maricopa County Attorney's Office spokesman Jerry Cobb confirms to New Times that the ASU Police Department has filed a report recommending two sexual-abuse charges against Greg Winslow, who has been accused of abusing a swimmer he was coaching in Tempe several years ago.

The man with the most rushing yards in all of major college football this year shoved his pregnant ex-girlfriend to the ground and was "threatening [her] pregnancy" last month, according to that ex-girlfriend.

Reports out of Tucson state that University of Arizona running back Ka'Deem Carey is going to be charged in the alleged domestic-violence incident this week, and the nature of the charges is described in an order-of-protection against Carey, which we've obtained.

Jason Dubin, Sports Agent, Gets Probation for Failed Threesome Attempt With Teen Girls

Valley sports agent Jason Dubin
Jason Dubin, the Valley sports agent who attempted to get two girls under the age of 18 over to his place for sex, was sentenced today to two years of probation.

Dubin worked for Gaylord Sports Management before that incident went down -- the joint that porn star/jersey-chaser Bibi Jones claimed hooked her up with the agency's potential clients -- but had started up his own agency at the time he was busted.

Not only does the team prefer that you have a college degree to dress up in a gorilla suit and drunk basketballs, the job actually has a longer list of requirements than jobs with the word "executive" in the title.

Edward Sauceda is probably the only person on earth with the Arizona Cardinals logo tattooed on his face, as we could only find one other photo of a Cardinals face tattoo on Google images -- Sauceda's mugshot from 2009.

Sauceda was actually arrested the week before the Cardinals lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLIII in 2009, but is now accused of aggravated DUI during the preseason.

Glendale police say investigators will be sending their findings to the Maricopa County Attorney's Office to determine possible charges in the shooting outside of the University of Phoenix Stadium two weeks ago.

According to Glendale PD, Arizona Cardinals fan and ex-police officer Michael Horan, 57, fired one shot at 29-year-old Oakland Raiders fan Chris Knight outside a preseason game between the two teams on August 17.

The Glendale Police Department still hasn't gotten into a ton of detail about Friday's shooting outside the University of Phoenix Stadium, but the question the burning question has been answered -- the Arizona Cardinals fan shot the Oakland Raiders fan.

The shooting occurred in a parking lot outside the stadium while the preseason game between the Cardinals and Raiders was still going on, and police said the "incident appear[ed] to be fan based."
