The love story of Gary Noel -- the man who has admitted to lighting his wife's house on fire this weekend but claims, "The bitch deserved it," as he killed his estranged wife's cat in the process -- is currently playing out on local television.

3TV is really, really following the story of Noel, who explained that he lit up his estranged wife's house because she left him for a woman, according to court documents obtained by New Times.

Noelle Clough, the Mesa woman who told police she stabbed her husband after an argument over a quiz in Cosmo magazine received a sentence of probation and a deferred jail term.

Clough, 22, actually told police in June that she was actually complying with her husband's request to stab him after the argument over the quiz, according to court documents previously obtained by New Times.

Tasha Kunzi, a former doctoral at ASU's criminal-justice school, claims in a federal lawsuit that after she broke off an affair with her professor, she was harassed by him and the school's director.

A former doctoral student says in a federal lawsuit that she was harassed and forced to leave an Arizona State University criminal-justice program after a soured love affair with a married professor.

Tasha Kunzi filed the suit yesterday against the Arizona Board of Regents, Professor Travis Pratt and the director of ASU's School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, Scott Decker.

We left phone messages for all three, plus Kunzi's lawyer, Stephen Montoya, but haven't heard back from anyone yet.

The eight-page court filing describes how an extramarital relationship between a student and her mentor turned into harassment that was allegedly ignored by an ASU program head.

That's because her last boyfriend was hiding in a bathroom at 6 a.m. yesterday, telling police Carr just stabbed him for allegedly getting a call from another woman.

Kenneth Robert Evans apparently would like his ex-wife to be in bed when he drops by her place for a visit.

That seems to be the case because when his ex-wife's not in bed, Evans, 38, has a tendency to light the bed on fire.

Evans was arrested Monday for the latest bed-torching, according to court documents obtained by New Times, after police caught up with him to ask about the May 21 incident in Glendale.

We're not sure what the answer to that is, but police say that's what Noelle Clough's husband did on Sunday.

Sure enough, Clough, 22, complied with her husband's request and stabbed him, according to court documents obtained by New Times.

When did Tucson resident Moses Antonio Shepard's chasing of a woman turn into an interstate stalking case?

According to the federal government, some point before the 18-year mark.

Shepard was sentenced yesterday to 100 months in prison, as the 19th anniversary of his one and only date with his victim comes in September.

According to federal court documents, Shepard followed the woman back-and-forth across the country since getting rejected for a second date in New York in the early '90s.

Daytona Johnson Gets Five Years in Prison for Attacks on Both of Her Live-in Ex-Boyfriends

Believe it or not, living with two ex-boyfriends at the same time didn't work out well for Phoenix woman Daytona Johnson.

After punching one ex-boyfriend/baby-daddy, then throwing a can of Febreeze at her other ex-boyfriend/baby-daddy -- and later slicing his throat with a meat cleaver -- Johnson's getting a trip to prison.

Johnson was sentenced today to five years in prison, after pleading guilty to one count of aggravated assault, while the five other charges were dropped as part of a plea agreement.

According to court documents previously obtained by New Times, Johnson -- who lived in her Phoenix home with the two ex-boyfriends and children fathered by each of the men -- got into an argument with one of the men at the house back in September.

While Johnson was arguing with one of her exes, Chad Grubbs, Johnson's other live-in ex-boyfriend, Dominick Glarruisso, entered the room and asked Johnson to give him his cell phone, which she refused to do.

Jesse Perkins wasn't too hip to a Valentine's Day card for his girlfriend -- he allegedly shot her in the head.
​Here's a Valentine's Day gift Jesse Perkins' girlfriend will never forget -- the bullet police say he shot into her forehead yesterday.

According to court documents obtained by New Times, Perkins, 21, was talking to his girlfriend at their Peoria home about "issues they were having," including how he was planning to turn himself in on an arrest warrant.

Perkins decided that was the time to start cleaning his gun, a process which apparently called for Perkins to get a bag of bullets out of his closet.

Sure enough, while sitting on the bed with the gun and his girlfriend about two feet in front of him, police say the .22-caliber handgun went off and the bullet hit the woman in the forehead.
