Admitted Arsonist's Wife Says She Didn't Leave Him for a Lady, Claims Husband "Loves Drugs"

About three weeks ago, Gary Noel set fire to his wife's house and said it's because his wife left him for a woman -- "the bitch deserved it," as he explained.

It turns out, at least, according to his estranged wife, that she sure didn't leave him for a woman, and explains that Noel "loves drugs."

As far as the fire is concerned, Noel claims, "The bitch deserved it," as he killed his estranged wife's cat in the process.

Tempe Police Say Nimrod, Cody Nimrod, Was Caught Setting Fire to Dumpsters

Police arrested a Nimrod -- specifically, Cody Nimrod -- while he was in the middle of an arson spree in Tempe early Sunday morning.

After lighting up five dumpsters, a car, and stuff in an alley around 3 a.m. Sunday, police found Nimrod in the act of setting another fire, according to information provided by the Tempe Police Department.

Herbert Ridge Failed at Stealing Gas, but Did Manage to Light Himself on Fire (Video)

Not only did Herbert Ridge fail in his attempt to siphon gas out of a truck in a Mesa neighborhood yesterday, he also managed to light himself on fire in the process.

Based on the video-surveillance footage of Ridge going up in flames, it appears that he did not want to be on fire.

Former Kyrene Justice Court Constable Jonathan Levenson will be doing some time in jail for planning to burn down his own home and blame it on people who hate Jews.

Levenson, who is Jewish, was arrested by Tempe police in October 2011 after the cops discovered that he was planning to collect insurance money thanks to the fire set by the imaginary anti-Semites.

Kenneth Evans Set His Ex-Wife's Bed on Fire -- Again

Kenneth Robert Evans apparently would like his ex-wife to be in bed when he drops by her place for a visit.

That seems to be the case because when his ex-wife's not in bed, Evans, 38, has a tendency to light the bed on fire.

Evans was arrested Monday for the latest bed-torching, according to court documents obtained by New Times, after police caught up with him to ask about the May 21 incident in Glendale.

Steven Craig Shiflet Started Sunflower Fire in Arizona by Firing "Incendiary Shotgun Shell" During Bachelor Party in Desert, Records Say

Steven Craig Shiflet of Mesa has been accused of starting the 18,000-acre Sunflower Fire by shooting into the desert with an incendiary shell.
Steven Craig Shiflet of Mesa has been charged with three misdemeanor counts in connection with starting the 18,000-acre Sunflower Fire in the Tonto National Forest, records show.

The records, first dug up by www.smokinggun.com, reveal that Shiflet managed to start the blaze by firing an "incendiary shotgun shell" from his Remington 12 gauge during a bachelor party in the desert near Sycamore Creek.

A fire information site states that the blaze has been burning since the morning of May 12 and is expected to be fully contained by the end of this month.
