A 17-year-old Peoria girl has joined her mother and brother as a murder defendant.

Alysa Gibson is now the third family member arrested in the murder of her father, Steve Gibson, who was killed at his Peoria home about six weeks ago.

A Peoria mother and her teenage son pleaded not guilty this morning to murder charges, about six weeks after police said the two hired a 16-year-old boy to kill a member of their family.

Police said at the time that Michelle Gibson called 911 early on March 1 saying she found her husband dead in the garage. According to police, while investigators were at the house, 16-year-old Erik McBee walked up to the murder scene with a 14-year-old girl and told police he did it.

Michael Cohn, the 61-year-old Scottsdale resident accused of murdering his wife Linda inside their North Scottsdale home on March 27, has pleaded not guilty.

Of course, that's just his plea. Cohn told a 911 dispatcher that day, "I just killed my wife."

Based on the cops' account, 64-year-old Eugene Maraventano's alleged murder of his wife and son were pathetic.

Not only did Maraventano allegedly stab both of them to death for extraordinarily poor reasons, but he also tried unsuccessfully for the next four days to kill himself.

Eugene Maraventano, a 64-year-old Goodyear resident, told police this weekend that he stabbed his wife and son to death and failed to kill himself after multiple tries over the course of the next four days.

"I killed my wife and I killed my son; I can't kill myself," Maraventano told a 911 dispatcher, according to court documents obtained by New Times.

The audio of the 911 call placed a couple of weeks ago by 61-year-old Scottsdale resident Michael Cohn, informing the dispatcher that he just killed his wife, has been released by police.

As it was explained in a court filing, Cohn seemed extremely calm after he'd just killed his wife of more than 26 years, Linda, and that's confirmed by the audio.

The 15-year-old Tolleson girl charged with murder, as an adult, for allegedly shooting and killing her sister's 17-year-old boyfriend has pleaded not guilty.

Ladajianna Mosely -- who was born in 1997 -- told police she thought she had unloaded the .45-caliber handgun she and two others had just recently stolen after breaking into a neighbor's home, according to court documents obtained by New Times.

Gerald Lee Culverson of Chandler Killed Girlfriend and Chewed Her Breasts, Cops Say; UPDATE - Culverson Released, Worst Details of Victim's Injuries Retracted by Cops

Gerald Lee Culverson was arrested Friday in Chandler after his girlfriend was found dead with a large wound in her head and her nipples chewed severely.
In a case that sounds more like a zombie attack than a homicide report, Chandler police busted a 58-year-old trailer-park resident on Friday for allegedly killing his girlfriend and gnawing on her breasts.

After Gerald Lee Culverson called paramedics to the home he shared with his deceased girlfriend, Deborah Courtney, at 555 West Warner Road, Unit 89A, police found Courtney's body covered with horrendous wounds.

The victim had "severe bite marks" on her nipples and areolas; one of her nipples was "nearly detached."
