UPDATE 12:17 p.m.: Coach Bruce Arians says Stanton "does not need surgery -- just rest." Read more from Arians at the bottom of this post.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Drew Stanton was knocked out of last night's game against the St. Louis Rams with a knee injury, but Stanton's not necessarily out for the year.

The Cardinals won last night's game, and have clinched a playoff berth assuming this weekend's game between San Francisco and Seattle doesn't end in a tie, but no one would expect much of a playoff run without Stanton.

The NFL "insiders" for both ESPN and the NFL Network, Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport, are both citing sources that say Stanton's not done for the year.

Arizona to Rally Against Native Mascots
As another NFL team with a Native American-inspired mascot came to town last weekend, some Native American groups banded together to protest the Kansas City Chiefs.

Although the groups have gotten a lot of attention for their protests of a certain Washington NFL team's name, they're also protesting what they perceive to be a mockery of Native American culture, like Chiefs fans showing up wearing red face paint or fake headdresses.

"I saw numerous people arriving at the stadium wearing fake headdresses," says Nicholet Deschine, a member of Eradicating Offensive Native Mascotry. "Arizona is one of three states to have the largest share of American Indian population and it's appalling that this type of insensitive apparel is allowed into Arizona Cardinals games at the University of Phoenix Stadium."

Dockett's colorful courtroom tweets became national sports news, with media outlets like Deadspin, the Washington Post, and FOX Sports posting reports.

Problem is, at least part of Dockett's story is made-up.

Jimmy Johnson says the Arizona Cardinals could use running back Ray Rice, who was reinstated to play in the NFL last week after his domestic-violence arrest earlier this year.

Johnson, who coached the Dallas Cowboys to back-to-back Super Bowl wins in the early '90s, made the suggestion during the halftime show for yesterday's Cardinals game on FOX, a 29-18 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

"It might be time for [Cardinals coach] Bruce Arians and [general manager] Steve Keim to sit down with [ownership] and say, 'How about Ray Rice?'" Johnson said.

The NFL draft is tonight, and the Arizona Cardinals have the 20th overall pick.

The Cardinals have been big winners and big losers with some past first round picks: There's Larry Fitzgerald, but there's Matt Leinart. There's Patrick Peterson, but there's Andre Wadsworth.

We took a look at all of the first-round picks the Cardinals have made since coming to Arizona in 1998, and let's hope tonight's pick isn't any worse than these -- the 10 worst first-round picks by the Arizona Cardinals:

It's hard to believe that any Arizona Cardinals fan disapproved of the team trading away ever-struggling left tackle Levi Brown.

Now, that trade of Brown, a former top-10 pick, to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a late-round draft pick looks even better -- Brown was placed on injured reserve.
