Senator Kelli Ward Hosting Forum "To Address Community Concerns About Chemtrails"

Condensation trails left behind by a Boeing 747.

Republican Senator Kelli Ward of Lake Havasu City has organized a forum in her district to address concerns about "chemtrails."

"Chemtrails" are them white trails left behind by them there aero-planes up in the sky, used by the gubmint to poison us common folk, conspiracy theorists say.

The trails of condensation formed behind planes, actually named "contrails," are harmless streams of vapor, and actually aren't part of a CIA mind-control experiment or whatever the conspiracy theorists believe they do.

-Chemtrails: Strong Competitor for Dumbest Conspiracy Theory Ever

(Our colleague Ray Stern wrote a pretty good explanation of what he calls a "strong competitor for the dumbest conspiracy theory ever" in this 2008 blog post, in which he spent some time arguing with someone who must have inhaled way too many chemtrails.)

Ward, a tea party-type, often takes up some fringe issues at the Legislature, like nullification of federal gun laws, or attempts to kick the NSA out of Arizona. In this case, she seems to be entertaining the fringe, but it doesn't appear that she actually buys into it. Here's the post she made to Facebook about the forum:

You kind of have to pity those Arizona Department of Environmental Quality employees chosen to be assailed by the chemtrail-poisoned citizens of Lake Havasu City.

As you can see in Ward's post, this event on Wednesday will be streamed online, so get your popcorn and gas-mask ready.

According to a local paper in Lake Havasu, Ward said she's hosting the forum because "some of her constituents have questioned a connection between the chemtrails and a heightened level of certain minerals in their blood."

It is Thursday, June 26. 10:30 a.m.. Anyone who is in denial as to these spraying operations happening, please go outside right now!!! about 20 min ago two planes laid down thin trails, they have now expanded and are about a mile wide each. GO FUCKING LOOK FOR YOURSELF!!!! they will continue to expand and fall closer to the ground. By early afternoon the sky will be mostly if not all a silvery white color. You can not continue to deny what is right above your heads.

I could do this all day, I guess everyone involved in the meeting above is ALSO a "conspiracy theorist" ??

And are we STILL losing our pollinator's?? YUP

Where are all the BENEFITS these programs (that CLEARLY exist) are supposed to supply AZ?!

Who regulates what is being sprayed?? Univ of Illinois did a study that PROVED weather modification DAMAGED agricultural crop productions!! It also hindered the intended use of solar panels in the area.

Weather modification is CAUSING global warming folks. Man made clouds are increasing humidity which in turn is increasing pests, molds and plant viruses. Ask yourself who does THAT benefit? Who would benefit from natural crops not producing as much? Who would benefit from natural organic crops being infested with mold/mildew and pests?

In a word, MONSANTO

who makes pesticides? monsanto
who is the largest "research group" in the agricultural genetic modification? monsanto
who's new "miracle" seeds and crops are pest and pesticide resistant thanks to genetic modification which would allow them to not only grow but thrive? monsanto
who files lawsuits to not label genetically modified foods? monsanto
who files lawsuits to protect "weather manipulation" programs? monsanto
who files lawsuits against farmers that wont/dont use their "miracle" soy and corn seed? monsanto

this isn't even difficult to follow folks, so let's start talking about the reality of the situation.

These programs are ONGOING ladies and gents!!

Now that you have undeniable proof SOMETHING is being SPRAYED in your skies and into the air you and your family breathes, do you think it IS important to find out what EXACTLY they are spraying?!?

Saying this is nothing more than conspiracy theory is comical at best, didn't know you wrote satire pieces Matthew Hendley?!

One more thing, are all the "conspiracy theorists" still crazy for saying every electronic transmission in the United States was being monitored and/or recorded? Guess Snowden didn't give you enough proof??

It's time people use the words for what they are, not an attempt to demonize or belittle a topic that is controversial.

I kind of expect more from you

I remember the day my dad died, it was March 11 of 2011. He died early in the morning and around noon I went outside and it was snowing! Not hard, it was that rare kind of snow that is thin and last only a little while once it touches the ground. We all agree it is a rare day indeed for it to snow in Mesa. At the time I remember thinking that the snow was a sign from my dad, it was his way of saying he made it to heaven and he was going to be ok. What a novel idea, right?

As you may know, temperature decreases with increasing altitude. If the cloud from which the snow originates is at or below freezing (32 F, 0 C), snow will form within the cloud.

On the ground, it can be as warm as 43 F for snow to fall, anything above that and it will surely turn into rain. As long as there is a deep cold (freezing) layer above the ground, snow can fall.

The temps in Mesa, AZ on record are a high of 84 F with a low of 51 F . It would not have been possible for natural accruing snow to have fallen that day. It was the result of a geoengineered snow storm. If there is a way to post pictures to this site I can show you the pictures we took of the snow, they will have a time stamp of 03/11/2011 on them. It was in East Mesa and it even made the nightly news

What bothers me the most is that I have always looked to New Times for the truth that main stream media refused to report. It was this paper and the commenters on it that enlightened me to the fraud that Joe Arpio really is. It was here that I learned the truth about the Andrew Thomas and Joe Arpio show that made specticals of politicians who didn't agree with their views. I was at the state Capitol on May 31, standing next to Camille Tilley when 18,000 signatures were hand delivered to the Secretary of State, officially kicking off the recall Russell Pearce campaign.

So why is it that these same people and this same paper refuse to look past main stream media lies on this issue? According to mainstream media Arpaio was a fucking hero and the only man capable of saving us from the Mexicans. You guys knew that was not the truth and spoke out even though it went against what the general population felt. You know what it is like to try and explain to a group of brain washed idiots that what they are hearing on TV is not the truth, or if it is it is being spun in a way to manipulate it.

Geoengineering is as real as Candy Andy's trophy Hispanic wife...it's real and it's happening. You are not doing yourself or your kids any favors by burying your head in the sand so that you don't see the grid criss cross patterns across the sky.

Honestly they haven't sprayed in a few days, so today would not be a good example. But they do it atleast once, twice maybe three days out of the week. You know those days where you think..hmmm..it's really overcast outside, must mean rain. But it never rains. They are non precipitation clouds.

Any doctors here want to explain what nuerological problems are associated with inhaling nano sized particles of aluminum???

People won't wake up until they're ready to wake up. That's true for both sides of the argument. If you focus on the good in life, good will be attracted to you. Here is a list of documentaries if you're looking to go down the path of learning. In the meantime, try to be nice for one another. We are all just doing the best we can. That comment was in response to Valleynative. I have to ask you, are you familiar with the term cognitive dissonance? I honestly think you should look into the symptoms of this well known disorder and see if maybe , possibly , you can relate to them. I am not trying to slander your character or insult your intelligence , in fact I'm doing just the opposite. This would explain how such a highly intelligent person such as yourself could be so blind to something so in our face obvious.

On March 11, 2011, the low temp in Mesa (Red Mt Fwy and University) was 45F.  It could easily have been 5-10 degrees cooler in parts of the city.

@EleanorRigby

You show your problem with logical analysis in your first sentence.  The fact that New Times disagrees with the "mainstream" media about Arpaio does not mean that they should disagree on all points. Each topic needs to be considered on its own merits, not simply based on whether or not the mainstream media believes it.

Skipping to the end of your rant, there are no known neurological effects of inhaling "nano-sized" aluminum particles.  I'll bet you're thinking about Alzheimer's, aren't you?

EleanorRigby

REALLY??  you do realize that the proof that these spraying programs are happening now is posted at the top of the page, right? If people arent even up to date on such an obvious issue, humanity as a whole should just accept maybe eugenics is not such a bad idea after all.

Yes, I am. Also, many are aware autism is on the rise.

You don't have to refer to my comment as a "rant" , I am not your enemy nor am I trying to feed you a line of bullshit.

The reason I brought up Arpaio was because at the time he had ALOT of supporters. It took people, like yourselves, to open your mind to the possibility that someone who was elected into a very powerful position was as corrupt as the day is long. Do you remember trying to win an argument with any of the commenters on AZ republic about Arpaio? It was and still is very difficult to ask someone to consider that what they have been told is the truth is really a lie.

Mark Twain once said "it is easier to fool someone then it is to convince them they have been fooled"

As an intelligent open minded individual , you should want to look at the facts about geoengineering.

@EleanorRigby

You should look at the facts regarding aluminum, Alzheimer's, and autism.  You clearly haven't, or, more likely I suppose, you don't know how to distinguish scientific fact from bullshit pseudoscience.

Scientific fact says that there is no relationship whatsoever between aluminum and either disease.  The initial study linking Alzheimer's and aluminum has been retracted after confirming that the samples had been contaminated during preparation.  I suppose you choose to call that a "cover-up" rather than a correction.

Autism is an emotionally-charged disease for which parents will cling to any explanation that absolves them of blame, regardless of how wacky the science may be.

Scientific fact has nothing to do with how many people believe it or whether the ideas have caught on in the mainstream.

EleanorRigby
EleanorRigby

I always like to be open minded and give people the benefit of the doubt. I am not saying that your statement about Alzheimer's and Autism not being related to aluminum is a lie, but I can not find any evidence to support your statement anywhere online. If you would post a link to any scientific studies that have I fact concluded there is no connection between the two, I would really appreciate it.
