A Tempe home invasion caught on video as a woman played a video game can be seen this morning on YouTube.

A police bulletin picked up by various news media organizations around the Valley reported the home invasion, which took place early this morning in a west Tempe apartment complex -- but the other media apparently hasn't found the actual video yet.

Here's what Tempe PD's news release said about the incident:

"At approximately 5:10 AM Tempe police responded to 1250 E. Grove Parkway, Tempe in reference to a home invasion. Initial information given to police was the female victim was playing online gaming when two unknown men forced entry into her apartment at gun point. At that point gamers from around the world were watching the home invasion occur while trying to contact the corresponding law enforcement agency.

A friend of the victim knew the victim's location and notified Tempe Police. Upon arrival officers located one suspect still in the apartment and attempted to contact him at which time he fled on foot. He was located and taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.

There is still one suspect outstanding in the area, described as a Hispanic male wearing a long sleeve grey shirt and black pants. At this time Tempe SWAT is attempting to locate the second suspect who is believed to be in a vacant apartment."

We decided to search YouTube for the actual video and quickly found the video below. It's being published by several YouTube users, including this one:

As you can see, if you click, the video shows a young woman playing what one YouTube user calls the " insanely popular real-time strategy game DOTA 2," when she's interrupted by the sound of loud voices in the background. She lets out expletive, then gets up quickly, leaving only her chair in view. Until a man with a gun walks by.

Tempe police confirmed this is the right video.

UPDATE 4:24 p.m.: Just received this update from Tempe police on the case, if you're interested. Contains ID of suspect -- the second guy is still being sought.

Tempe police press release follows:

"On June 9, 2014 at approximately 5:10 AM Tempe police responded to 1250 W. Grove Parkway, Tempe in reference to a possible home invasion. Initial information given to police was third hand from a friend of the victims. The caller had gotten information from an online "gamer" out of Europe that had been playing an online video game with the victim when two unknown men forced entry into her apartment at gun point. The caller was able to provide police with location and phone numbers to the victims.

"Upon arrival officers located one suspect, identified as 27 year old Edgardo Martinez (DOB: 01/31/1987) who was still in the apartment. When officers attempted to make contact Martinez came to the balcony and stated he was one of the victims. Martinez initially complied with officers' commands, however, he then attempted to flee on foot. He was located and taken into custody at an adjacent apartment complex.

"Edgardo Martinez was arrested and charged with the following:
* Armed Robbery (Class 2 Felony)
* Kidnapping (Class 2 Felony)
* 1st Degree Burglary (Class 2 Felony)
* Theft of a Firearm (Class 6 Felony)
* Theft of Credit Card (Class 5 Felony)

"The victims were not injured and had been locked in a back bedroom during the robbery where they were going to be held till a nearby bank opened. The suspects were going to take the victims to the bank and have them withdraw money.

"There is still one suspect outstanding, described as a Hispanic male wearing a long sleeve grey shirt and black pants. Anybody with information is asked to contact the Tempe Police Department."

So... did the bad guys get any drugs, money, jewels, or weapons for their trouble? That's what home invasion robberies are all about.
