Yeah, a couple of states are going with full legalization, but don't forget, most states don't have a medical marijuana program.

I've lived in lots of places, forget what the complainers say, Phoenix is a pretty good place to make home.

I never have to scrape ice off my windshield, dig my car out of a snow bank or plug in my engine block overnight so it doesn't freeze!

Maybe they should ask the reasons why people don't like it, I think that would help Arizona be better, fix some problems from the peoples feed back...

The simplicity of the grid system with the streets.

Less traffic, I can use the carpool lane illegally without getting pulled over, and can speed without worrying about receiving an infraction. That's about it. The services are terrible, the politicians are terrible, the state government is terrible, the heat is unbearable, the insects want to kill you, employers barely pay a livable wage, most of the restaurants are disgusting....but housing is affordable, I guess. Arizona gets a D+/C- grade.

Only thing i think is cool compared 2 home is: guns, drivers license, and sports.. other than that my city was waaay better than Phoenix. Ive only been here for a month and the weather has been crap.. the traffic has been crap.. but the location has been great. Stay downtown so its walking distance 2my school.. but in 3 years im out of here.. this state is not really "black friendly"

I've been here for 23 years, and I'm boxing stuff up getting ready to leave. I don't think I am going to miss it.

I've been gone one month and miss it like crazy. You don't appreciate it until you're looking back at it!!

The McDowells, the smell of rain in the desert, no snow. Downside is backwards republican hell, summer, no trees, no close rivers, no decent downtown community. Grew up here, family is here otherwise I'd be in CA.

Nope! There is no point in looking back! One must keep moving forward!

Sorry New Times, but I'm over it. My husband and I just moved to Dallas after 9 years in Phoenix and it rocks so far! The diversity is awesome, not to mention that all of the cool places aren't concentrated in a snobby little place called Scottsdale. Nice try, but your list is just lame!

Really appreciate the "grid" now that I live in Texas but to be fair, the grid could never work here because of the hills. (Central Texas)

Love everything about Phoenix except how it doesn't have a beach. I also want downtown to be able to grow into the big city area it deserves to be. The FAA hinders that by putting limitations on building height. Too many people here vote against urban progress. Get with the program, we are the 5th largest city in the U.S and the 12th Largest Metro and growing.

It's called a debate and it's what adults due without resorting to immaturity due to lack of knowledge and facts. Appreciate your input man...Have a good day!!
