St. Patrick's Day Weekend DUI Patrols: Phoenix, East Valley, and More

Drunk driving is bad.

With that out of the way, here's where police will be setting up "saturation patrols" around the Valley, looking for impaired drivers this weekend, including St. Patrick's Day:

  • Friday, March 14 to Monday March 17: Police in Phoenix will be operating "saturation patrols" based out of the following areas, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.:

27th Avenue and Thunderbird
16th Street and Highland

40th Street and Greenway

16th Street and Apache

Central and Broadway

27th Avenue and Thomas

  • Friday, March 14: The East Valley DUI Task Force will be in Old Town Scottsdale from 7 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.


  • Saturday, March 15: The East Valley DUI Task Force will be in Tempe from 7 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.


  • Sunday, March 16: The East Valley DUI Task Force will be in Old Town Scottsdale from 7 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.


  • Monday, March 17: The East Valley DUI Task Force will be in Mesa from 7 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.


  • Friday, March 14 to Monday March 17: The Salt River police will be on the reservation's border with Scottsdale, from 7 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.


  • Saturday, March 15: The West Valley DUI Task Force will be based out of El Mirage, starting at 7 p.m.


  • Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16: Police in Mesa will be out for saturation patrols from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Saturday: Gilbert and Southern

Sunday: Country Club and Southern

  • Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16: Police in Chandler will have patrols from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Saturday: Downtown

Sunday: Elliot and Loop 101
