- Child-porn sharer gets a year in jail
Jeffrey Eberlein, of Laveen, was sentenced to a year in jail for sharing child pornography. Eblerlein was caught by openly sharing the files on a peer-to-peer network, according to police. In addition to the year in jail, Eberlein was sentenced to a lifetime of probation with sex-offender terms. He had pleaded guilty to three counts of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor.
