Anonymous Prepared to Protest at Phoenix VA Hospital

People associated with Anonymous, the collective of Internet activists, are still seeking justice for 2-year-old Savannah Cross, who was killed in brutal fashion last year.

The activists already have been bringing attention to the fact that charges have been dropped -- for now, at least -- against Savannah's alleged killers, who were in charge of babysitting the girl when she was killed. Now, an Anonymous press release hints at protests at the Phoenix VA hospital, where Savannah's mother works.

Police said a couple that run something of an unlicensed babysitting service was responsible for Savannah's death, in December. Ryan Reed, then 27, admitted to abusing the girl, and his wife, then-28-year-old Allison Clement, knew that the abuse was happening, yet didn't do anything about it.

Recently, charges against the couple were dropped.

Court filings indicate that the medical examiner's office was very slow to get some tests done, and a deputy Maricopa County attorney assigned to the case repeatedly told the judge that these tests would be in any day -- which turned out to not be true. The Maricopa County Attorney's Office, in subsequent court filings, referred to this as some grave miscommunication.

No matter the reason, the charges were dismissed, at least until after these tests could be completed.

People associated with Anonymous caused a stink after hearing the charges were dropped, noting the brutal nature in which Savannah was killed.

Court documents indicate Savannah sustained "extensive trauma to include deep tissue bruising, pattern bruising, swelling and abrasions from head to toe, front to back."

"The medical staff described the bruises as 'too many to count,'" a probable-cause statement said. "These bruises appeared to be in different stages of healing, and could not have been caused by a single traumatic event."

Reed eventually admitted to abusing the girl, according to court filings.

In announcing "Operation Justice4Savannah," Anonymous mostly pointed the finger at the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office, which didn't get the test results it needed to complete reports necessary for the prosecution.

Now, Anonymous' attention had shifted toward Savannah's mother.

Umm.....right to work has NOTHING to do with terminating an employee with or without cause.  Right to work is only in indication of a states laws requiring union membership.  Arizona is a right to work state because it is illegal to require employees to join a union as a condition of employment.  In other words, employees have the right to work even if they don't want to join a union.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-to-work_law

Arizona does recognize at will employment.......http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/At-will_employment

Ashley Dattoli Livengood is working at the VA hospital as her "externship." It's unlikely her employ is protected by any Federal regulations.

If she's a Federal employee, the government can't just fire her without specific cause.  Has she been tried & convicted of a crime?  I'm sorry to say, it's not that easy to get rid of an employee who has  a govt. job.  (I was a govt. employee for over 32 years.)  Lots of rules & regulations to get past to fire her.

If I still had an internet radio show (which I don't) I would spend several weeks going yak, yak, yak over this, then I would wait a few weeks and change my mind (which I don't have either) and then I would attack everyone who called me a dumbass (which I am) Then I would walk around all year pretending I was being attacked for being the great bearer of truth (which I am not) and then I would post more dumb crap like this (which I am now doing) I know everyone misses my shining torch of neuroticism and my glowing light of illogical behavior. All for now, nitey nite.

It's a criminal act that the mom left her daughter in the care of these monsters. SHE should be charged with child neglect. And what, pray tell, is her excuse for not raising the daughter? Is she a party girl, just out to have fun?

MontyPug needs to get justice for Savannah. It's his duty.

I say recall MontyPug if he doesn't get justice for Savannah.

FYI--- Arizona's "Right to Work" laws don't apply because she is a federal employee and federal rules apply as to what, if any, cause is needed to terminate somebody.

@ibcingutoo She has a letter of substantiation against her in this case which should prevent her from working with children, the disabled, or the elderly. Her name is in a child abuse registry.

@robert_graham  Robert, i am actually very shocked and amazed by your post. it was simple and without any of your usual side tracking into other topics. good for you.  why cant you be simple and to the point like this all the time?  you would find more people sympathetic to your ideals and willing to hear you out if your posts were like this more often. i dont know if it matters much to you or not, but "well said Robert, well said, i could not agree with you more"    please try to keep your posts along the same lines as you have here and then you will find people much more receptive to your posts

@shadeaux14 Her employ part of her college's "externship." It's highly unlikely she is a full-time employee and could easily be removed.
