Police arrested five suspects after a fight with ASU frat boys -- involving baseball bats and shots fired from two handguns -- all just blocks away from the Tempe campus.

Isaiah Everett, 19; Caleb Everett, 20;  Zack Rezendes, 18; Clarissa Casillas, 19; and Michael Reyes, 19; were arrested on Sunday in connection with the fight, police say.

About 3 a.m. Sunday morning, Caleb and others went to pick up a friend's girlfriend at a party in an apartment complex at 1925 East Hayden Lane, which police believe is a Delta Kappa Epsilon party house. Some frat boys and residents told Caleb and company to leave the complex, according to police, and Caleb later got into a fight.

Thirty minutes after the initial fight, Caleb returned with more friends, baseball bats, and two black 9 millimeter handguns. About 20 people filed out of the apartments, and the two groups taunted each other. Then, police say, witnesses saw Rezendes clock someone in the head with a bat.

During the fight, two of the suspects pulled out their handguns and fired five shots in the air away from the crowd.

Witnesses heard Caleb shouting for everyone to "back up!," according to a police report.

The five jumped in their silver Ford Focus and fled the scene, but a patrol car responding to a shots-fired call chased them. The Focus braked and the group bailed from the car, running from officers, police say.

Authorities tracked down four of the suspects with the help of a K-9 and arrested Caleb at his home later that day. Police say they found a Hi-Point 9 millimeter pistol in the purse of Casillas, who later was identified as Caleb's girlfriend. Authorities spotted the other pistol near a canal. Both Caleb and Isaiah later admitted to owning the guns, police say.

When one looks at their pictures, one cannot help but wondering if we are now in "reverse" evolution.  Definitely Neanderthal mentality.

God knows where those shots went, considering they were fired in the middle of a populated area. Firing up and "away" does no good whatsoever. Idiots.

Wonder if these kids will be successful as many past frat memebers have? Or just in jail?

these folks should obviously be able to carry conceived and if reserve was a fight hey, it's self defense.

no charges necessary just give them their guns back and let them loose on the street.
