Just about every week, we bring you a roundup of visitors to the desert's own Fourth Avenue Jail. To be considered for our Maricopa County mugshots of the week, get arrested, strike a pose, and we'll take care of the rest.

You may be familiar with the word-association game -- one person picks a word, and the next person says the first word that comes into their head. That's what we've done this week, but with mugshots, and associated photos. Enjoy.

The AZ Republican Platform: No Birth Control ~ Abortion is murder - hmmmm; I wonder if the line ups in these Mug Shots were unwanted kids by chance? Or, more mentally ill folks to house our big Prison business? You know - the old HS to Prison Pipeline? In AZ to be charged with a crime is literal - do they ever offer discounts or perhaps a clearance cell - I mean sale.....

Posting mugshots is uncool. Arrested is not the same thing as convicted, or even guilty, so people should be treated more respectfully by respecting their privacy until they've been proved guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and convicted.

It's also childish and mean-spirited to make fun of their looks like you do here. It certainly isn't journalism.

Hey Hendley - Can you pick out which of these individuals is developmentally disabled or mentally ill like Brian Turner's son is? Aaahh, doesn't matter how sympathetic Amy Silverman may be to the developmentally disabled or mentally ill, lets make fun of 'em all anyway.
