Tim Tebow's in Town -- Would You Want Him on the Arizona Cardinals?

Tim Tebow
For what it's worth, New York Jets quarterback/God's favorite son Tim Tebow was spotted working out at Paradise Valley Community College yesterday.

To make the baseless trade speculation very easy, there's a guy who claims he can throw footballs, near an NFL team that made it very clear this year that it does not have a guy who can throw footballs.

What the hell's Tebow doing in Arizona? Nobody seems to know, other then what they saw -- he was running around and whatnot at PVCC.

Still, he's close enough to make it poll-worthy.

Would you want Tim Tebow on the Arizona Cardinals?

why isn't "Please, god no" an option

Well, hehe, the "consensus of opinion" is in: Please, no more holy rollers on the Cardinals squad.

I don't give a hoot and a howl about football, much less the AZ Cardinals. However, if His Holiness ends up on the Cardinals roster, expect him to perform about as well as ex-SD Charger Ryan Leaf, only for very different reasons. Judging from what I've read about Tebow, he has been a big disappointment for just about everyone.

Couldn't make our next season any worse than the last..

They already have running backs.

And what do we have now?? The worst QB's in the league. Anything would be an improvement

Tebow is a great person, but a second rate quarterback.

No. But lucky for us he's just like every other football player that comes here to train in Tempe.

Could it be worse than Skelton? At least the dude wins.

no, the cardinals already have plenty of mediocre quarterbacks. the jets can keep his sanctimonious ass.

NO. When will people understand no quarterback will survive in the league without an offensive line. And his "faith" needs to be left in the pew.

All backup quarterbacks suck. Why not get one that moves tickets? Charlie Touseull, it's people like you that validate things like the Texas secesh movement.

Anyone that said yes doesn't watch football.

I'm not a fan of his religious antics, but he is a good quarterback. How about Alex Smith? Can we have him by any chance?

Another religious nut in Phoenix? I think he would fit right in!

anyone would be an improvement at this point

No, the non-football distractions would be too great.

What are the other options? I think he would definitely add strength but there are better options.

@eric.nelson745 He wasn't a disappointment for Denver in their end of season playoff run in 2011 where he went 7 and 4 with a 6 game winning streak and then won their first playoff game.  Not saying he is the right guy for the Cardinals (or anyone for that matter), but he did have a succesful rookie season after replacing Orton in game 5 that year.

Now he was worse than Mark Sanchez this season according to the Jets coaching staff this season and Sanchez was as horrible as the Cardinals QBs, so take that for what its worth.
