Piñatas Used to Hide 425 Pounds of Weed, Feds Ruin Best Fiesta Ever

U.S. Customs and Border Protection says a dog sniffed out something in 24-year-old Tucson resident Juan Marcelo Armstrong's truck Friday afternoon at the port of entry in Nogales.
Turns out, CPB says there was a whole lot of marijuana in there, totaling 425 pounds.
According to a federal complaint, the weed wasn't actually in the piñatas.
The piñatas were just filler in the truck box, and a false wall in the back of the truck was hiding the marijuana.
Armstrong admitted to being paid $3,000 to take the weed into the United States, the complaint says.
Armstrong was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations, and faces a federal charge of marijuana possession with intent to distribute between 100 and 1,000 kilograms.
