Should Jan Brewer Gather a Fact or Two Before Directing Blame for Things?
Since Brewer said that, it's been discovered that Border Patrol Agent Nicholas Ivie apparently was killed by friendly fire.

As our commenting community pointed out yesterday, this isn't the first time Arizona politicians have perhaps wrongly blamed immigrants or the Obama administration for various incidents, but this incident drew the latest political responses.
"There should be anger, too. Righteous anger -- at the kind of evil that causes sorrow this deep, and at the federal failure and political stalemate that has left our border unsecured and our Border Patrol in harm's way," Brewer's statement on the shooting said. "Four fallen agents in less than two years is the result."
She continued, "It has been 558 days since the Obama administration declared the security of the U.S.-Mexico border 'better now than it has ever been.' I'll remember that statement today."
The FBI says there are "strong preliminary indications" that this was a friendly-fire incident, and authorities haven't mentioned the involvement of anyone else in the shooting -- like immigrants.
That said, should Brewer at least get some facts before blaming Obama, immigrants, or anyone else for these kinds of things?
