Kairo, the light-rail ninja.
Now that more than 500,000 people have seen the YouTube video of Phoenix's light rail ninja "Kairo" breaking up a fight, it's caused some debate.

Some people think it's pretty awesome that "Kairo" put the kibosh on the light rail fisticuffs, while others think it's a really bad idea to be using a sword as a weapon -- as folks in Arizona tend to carry guns.

That's the video above if you haven't seen it yet, and although Phoenix police are investigating the incident that involved Kairo pulling out the sword on the light rail, Phoenix police Sergeant Steve Martos told New Times last week, "It appears the individual with the sword helped to stop the fight."

This morning's question: Is Kairo a hero, or are his sword antics a disaster in the making?

I voted with majority. He does have balls. And yes, he'll probably be facing someone with an equalizer if he keeps this up. Douchebag, perhaps but WOW! nice bod.

with less and less being done (unless you happen to be a dishwasher and hispanic) to put crime in check, as evidented by the El Mirage sex crimes investigated.........oops, i mean UNinvestigated by MCSO. It seems that it has fallen on the citizens to protect themselves and others. Whereas it was great that this guy stood up to common thugs, he should remember, Arizona is a gun state. I myself am a "high-caliber" person and am pretty certain there are a large quantity of others who carry guns larger than 9mm. Since our wonderful governor, Jan Brewer, decided to restore gun rights to mentally ill people, I am just glad ole' Kiero here wasnt carrying a .45.  Since ole' Kiero here is becoming the vaunted champion of the downtrodden, maybe we ought to consider stationing him at the 4th ave booking to help protect people from Arpaio's personal brand of justice. I know Marty Atencio could have used the assist, and to be quite honest.....I'd trust ole' Kiero here with a sword one hell of a lot more than I would any of Joe's goons. If it's turning into a county where we have to rely on the unstable sword wielding guy for safety.........WHY is the flaccid failure still allowed to wear a badge?

I love the white man who decides to do something, when one person is getting bullied... Even if he will probably get arrested and charged. http://goo.gl/cc7jB

@danzigsdaddy I guess that's why everybody's carrying a gun. Teatarded gun-nuts and gang bangers alike. That forces the good citizens who not members of either group I mentioned, to start carrying concealed weaponery (i.e. handguns, glocks, etc).
