Joe Biden or Paul Ryan: Who Won the Vice-Presidential Debate?

Categories: Morning Poll

GOP vice-presidential nominee Paul Ryan (left) and Vice President Joe Biden.
For once, two men argued on television, and national media outlets didn't choose the winner for everyone (well, fewer than usual).

We're talking about the vice-presidential debate between current VP Joe Biden, and VP-hopeful Paul Ryan, who had their lone debate last night.

Both candidates had their quirks -- Biden was giggling a lot -- but it seemed like they did a much better job at highlighting their differences than President Obama and Mitt Romney did.

Biden probably won the award for zinger of the night, since Ryan dropped the name "Jack Kennedy" while talking about taxes.

"Oh, now you're Jack Kennedy?" Biden asked. After all these years, Dan Quayle still isn't Jack Kennedy either.

Anyway, if you watched the debate, who do you think won?

Cast your vote below, and no, you can't vote for the moderator. Despite what CNN and others are saying, just because moderators are good moderators, they still don't win a debate.

they were both like JoeArpaioFan, nobody listening to the other and just spouting out bullshit and thinking that just because they said it, it has to be true.

Lyin Ryan got his ass handed to him

What I really love is how Romney spent his debate interrupting the President - everyone said it and the right loved it since it painted Romney as a go-getter

Last night Bidden turned the tables on them (fair is fair) and now they (the right wingers) are whining that Bidden was dis-respectful to Ryan

ROFL - you guys want some cheese with that hypocritical whine? Or would a baby rattle be better?

Most of the right are such hypocritical assholes

Not sure who won, but I know who lost... Joe's creepy smile.  That's the stuff Halloween masks are made of.

You, like bite me Biden only takes handouts eh little man. Biden averaged $300 a year in charitable donations for 10 straight years, typical of big mouth liberals.

 @godhatesdems  GHD,

>>A big-mouth liberal named Grover Cleveland dedicated the Statue of Liberty in New York on October 28, 1886.

>>A big-mouth liberal named John Fitzgerald Kennedy prevented nuclear war in 1961.

Anything else you wanna falsely spout?

Prove it troll

I have never taken any government assistance or any type of welfare. Prove your statement that I take handouts.

As to how much I or anyone gives to charity - if you are so against handouts, why are you so hung up on giving them? Aren't you 'enabling' if you give more to charity?

Anyways, prove I take handouts or you have now libeled me on a public web site. It has been captured and saved.

Prove your claim/accusation or you are breaking the law

@Flyer9753  There are two choices when it comes to taking care of the poor and indigent.

It is done either voluntarily, or it is Government subsidized/ mandated.

When people volunteer their time, money and talents to help another, both are uplifted and edified.  This is the spirit of service, and a necessary principle for personal growth, peace and happiness in this life.

Then there are Government subsidies and assistance.  This is mandated.  No one is edified, or brought together, there is no growth or emotional benefits received by either the giver or the receiver.  This type of "assistance" creates an environment of entitlement for the receiver and an environment that it is someone else's (the Government's) responsibility to care for the needy.

Government programs have eroded the necessity for personal responsibility we each have to our fellow human beings.

Democrats are good people who have their hearts in the right place but are missing the importance of personal accountability we each have for other human beings by thinking everything can be fixed by the Government.  They rob themselves of opportunities for service, and retard their personal growth in doing so.
