arpaio is not lieing. i've read in many places there is proof with court documents that penzone did abuse his wife. so because there is proof, arpaio's campaign is out to tell the truth and facts. shame on the phoenix new times.

i just read an article that came across my phone from a news source called Fronteras (article called "The Tale Of The Mysteriously Timed Robocall" if you want to read it) that brought up a billboard Arpaio is commissioning. I know it is not his idea but it is a real different approach for him. instead of going with his last minute lies or smear tactics that he is known for, it takes a situation that is ongoing and uses it to his advantage WITHOUT going the smear tactic route. the billboard is going to be a photo of the people protesting outside of his office (daily) and will say "Sheriff Joe is watching.......out for all of us". where as there are over 400 cases in El Mirage that say otherwise,. since it is merely a lie and not a smear campaign, i am confused as to how they got him to approve it. somebody in his office developed SOME last minute morals, now if they would figure out the rest of their morals and quit lying

Truth is Penzone beat his wife, the proof is at http://therealpenzone.com in black and white. And he has nerve to attack Sheriff Joe for telling the truth??? Look who's desperate now.

did anybody really expect Joe to NOT lie in his ad? he has a proven track record of lying about everything. here we have Joe saying we should drop the questions about the El mirage sex crimes in 2007 because it was 5 years ago that those rapes occured, yet he wants us to think about a abused wife (whom doesnt say she was assaulted) from 2003. according to Joe's thinking, even if it was true....its over 5 years old, so it isnt anything anybody should wonder about. the big differnce joe is missing is that in Penzone's case, nothing backs up Joe's claim....not even Penzone's wife. but in joe's case, not only are his own people admitting he screwed those case up, but there are over 400 questionable cases that he DID screw up.

@danzigsdaddy You should stop being a hypocrite. You slam Arpaio and accuse him of lying about Penzone but it is the truth that Penzone was prosecuted for domestic violence. Why do you accuse Arpaio of wrongdoing when it is Penzone who has done wrong. I can't understand you dumb liberals. Penzone's attacks against Arpaio is ruining his chances for election because he clearly runs a dirty campaign. Everything he says is lies.

I heard recently that the old guy had a recent examination and there was absolutely no starch found in his noodle. In fact, a complete examination showed likely no starch for many years. Apparently Italian pasta just wears out...

just as desperate as he was with Dan Saban. if there were any fact to Joe's commercial, Penzone's wife would have been out and on the news validating Joe's claims. since she has not done so, it's yet ANOTHER Joe lie (you can see at least 2 or 3 in everyone of his commercials). but since they don't have Joe saying he approves of the message (on any of his ad's) he has retained his ability to claim he didn't say that, or knew nothing about it. if it was true and could be proven, why wont Joe put his approval on it? because even he knows its a lie.
