Joe Arpaio Now Off to a Farm Near Democratic National Convention for No Relevant Reason

For just $5, you can go to a farm to listen to the rants of a 16-year-old girl and a county sheriff from Arizona.

After being relegated to a speaking role at a zoo near the Republican National Convention last week, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio now is listed as being a speaker at a farm near the Democratic National Convention this week.

Arpaio's scheduled to speak tomorrow at "Rock the Red," a Republican-oriented event that's being held at the Hunter Farm in Weddington, North Carolina -- a town of almost 10,000 people, located around 20 miles from Charlotte.

The event was supposed to include country music acts Charlie Daniels and Travis Tritt, but according to the Charlotte Business Journal, organizers failed to pay for the venue rental in Charlotte, thus thoroughly screwing up everything.

The big-name musical acts have been replaced with some local folks, and speakers include politicians from the Carolinas, a 16-year-old blogger, and Arpaio.

If anyone has an idea of what this has to do with heading up a county law-enforcement agency in Arizona, feel free to let us know.

Also, don't forget BirtherFest is later this month.

Will they all be wearing their white robes and pointy hats?

Will there be a shrine to JT Ready?

I have just found a copy of Joe's speech, in it's final version.

"And They're coming to take me away Ha Ha

They're coming to take me away ho ho he he ha ha

To the hunter farm where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be happy to see those nice men in their clean white coats

They're coming to take me away Ha Ha

And They're coming to take me away Ha Ha

They're coming to take me away ho ho he he ha ha

To the happy home with trees and flowers and chirping birds and basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle thier thumbs and toes

They're coming to take me away Ha Ha!"

It has nothing to do with heading up a county law enforcement agency and everything to do with feeding an narcissist's ego.

it has nothing to do with law enforcement. it has lots to do with the flaccid failure trying to get his name in print to try to stroke his ego

You don't know there is no relevant reason.  We do know about his fascination with animal sex.  First a zoo, now a farm -- reasons enough for me.

Hey, Paul Babeu toured the country almost full time. Took a trip to politic in Massachusetts for an old political crony (Joe Malone) that Apraioo had tooted for the week before. Babeu made in-studio talk show appearances in Fargo, ND. Once even made an in-studio guest appearance for Hugh Hewitt in Irvine, CA. Must have been work related since Hewitt only mentioned Babeu's campaign website "SheriffPaul.com" 12 times in the first hour.

Strange job-related visits these two clowns seem to make. Babeu is now getting even lower-class venues to chat at than Joe is getting.  He is spending a lot more time with his Explorers lately.

They can't get clowns any cheaper than him to perform...

He is not a Sheriff as we speak. He's just some media addicted attention whore. A media queen of sorts. And nothing more. Why fear the old hag, when he's neglecting his duties?

Someone needs to pull the geriatric fool aside and tell him his former party of supporters is now doing nothing more than placating his desire for name recognition through appearances on the periphery of insanity.

By the way, incumbent David Burnell Smith posted campaign signs (still up one week after the election) that boasted of endorsement by the MCSO shurf. Mr. Smith got his ass handed to him in the primary by Heather Carter.

How'd that endorsement work out for you, Mr. Smith? In the goober country known as Cave Creek, of all places?

The rest of us are all safer this way - the more time these media whores tour the country spouting off the less time they are in the office and the safer all of us are.

This is a good thing.

@LoneWolf Why fear the old hag?

Because his culture of abuse and corruption have had almost 20 years to permeate all levels of the MCSO and until he is gone, The MCSO will continue to be an organized crime family instead of a law enforcement organization.

Only a new sheriff can correct the problems Joe has created.
