I think that the illegal aliens need to get their approval for the green cards first before they are allow to have a driver's license. They should go through the process and pay $1000 for the application fee just like everyone else does. If they can't pay for the application fee, they should go back to Mexico, and get in line just like everyone else is trying to get into America here. Why don't they just obey the laws here. I think that this is fair.

If they can't get a drivers license, they can't get valid car insurance, they will drive regardless, they will get into accidents and so MY car insurance goes up again!. Right or wrong, legal or illegal it's practical and pragmatic that they should be allowed drivers licenses.

Where do the funds for social security and state improvements as well as state benefits come from? They come from people who are working and pay into the tax fund and SS in AZ.

How is it legal to allow someone to work, force them to pay taxes, then to deny them the benefits of the taxes they paid. That seems alot like stealing.

Just because those people have gotten backdoor amnesty does not mean their illegal alien status has been taken away. The deferred status only entitles them to a work permit, nothing further. Brewer has denied licenses and taxpayer assistance to all illegal aliens, not just Mexicans. If some white person is here illegally from Canada he or she will be denied a drivers license too. I would be very skeptical of this deferred action program if I were eligible to use it. In order to qualify for this two year ( that could easily be rescinded after January of 2013) deferral you must provide proof you are residing here illegally. Essentially you are admitting you are here illegally and providing the evidence needed for future deportation. If the Obama administration were serious about immigration reform they would have made a stronger play than, " we promise not to deport you and will allow you to work for two years if you give us proof you are illegal " mantra. His executive order could have been granting citizenship to those who are here illegally not by their choice.
