Anthony "Tony" Parrinello
A man who declined to show up to an agreed-upon fight at a Walmart store near Anthem was run over and killed by the man he was supposed to fight after he didn't show up, police say.

Anthony "Tony" Parrinello, 31, is accused of running over 42-year-old Carmelo D'Alessandro on Monday, after the men decided to settle an argument they were having at a local elementary school by brawling at the Walmart.

According to court documents obtained by New Times, the men were in an argument at the Canyon Springs School in North Phoenix, near Anthem.

Phoenix police Sergeant Trent Crump tells New Times it appears both men had children at the school, and according to the school's calendar, yesterday was also the first day of school.

As the men argued at the school, police say they eventually agreed to meet at the Walmart and settle their dispute with a physical fight.

Parrinello headed to the store, but D'Alessandro decided just to walk home instead.

Parrinello waited at the Walmart for a bit, before going on a drive and looking for D'Alessandro. When he found D'Alessandro still walking toward his house, Parrinello ran him over, according to the documents.

Parrinello just kept driving, as people eventually found D'Alessandro on the street. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Several witnesses told police the men had been in an argument at the school, and Parrinello was found with his car at a nearby park.

Parrinello had cleaned "biological evidence" off the hood of his car, but after a search warrant was obtained, police found blood and other "biological evidence" underneath the vehicle, according to court documents.

Parrinello admitted being in an argument with D'Alessandro, but denied running him over, police say.

Parrinello faces one count of second-degree murder and is being held on $1 million bond.

Im sorry eatyou4breakfast family had to see that aweful event i myself think he should get first degree murder charge the evidence speaks for itself so lets all just face it he did it. The kids and family of carmelo are suffering as well as the innocent kids of tony the monster. Anthem needs to get it together and help the victims here ! i have reached out to some groups in anthem with no response and I am outraged so I will help them myself. They are innocent victims. Tonys kids from multiple moms didnt ask for this he had no repect for them their mothers their families his family himself and especially no respect for human life. May he have his day in court to be found guilty of nothing less than first degree murder. They will bump up the charge. You do the crime do the time macho man. If any of you live in anthem well be having a fundraiser soon to help out! thanks for your support.

@brandy Get a life he's a piece of shit that beat his step kids and drank like a fish. If that's your idea of a good date you may want to rise your standards. The victims flesh and blood did not appear under the SUV magically. We are talking first degree murder not Lucky Charms.

@brandy Evidence is stand against him anyways, whether he says he did it or not. He shouldn't have tried to clean off the front of the truck when the evidence was found on the bottom of the vehicle...........good guy? No way!

@brandy Bullshit, "Tony" as you call him is nothing more than a common street thug. He ran over someone that didn't want to fight him over a stupid bullshit argument. HE's got a criminal past with assaults mentioned several times. He's a coward. He used a vehicle to run over someone who wouldn't fight him. What a fucking pussy.

@brandy If he were such a "good guy", he wouldn't have even considered running someone over to death over what was probably a stupid argument.

And what about the VICTIM's friends and family???? What about the fact that a child lost his father because another father couldn't control his anger???

Sorry, no sympathy here for your "good guy" Tony.

The man who was run over wasn't Mexican, he was Italian and a very life-loving person.  There is no way to know what the "beef" was between them, but he didn't deserve to die about it.  His family is in such pain, as is the family of this Tony guy.  Slow to anger, slow to anger.

Whether Tony made the mistake of not thinking before acting, he made the biggest mistake of his life. He has a family here and that family has been going through so much turmoil due his actions. It is not his family/kids fault for the mistake that he has made. Everyone has the right to their own opinion as to what REALLY happened. No one knows exactly what happened besides Tony himself.

What is the biggest BS of all is that "Bonnie Lynn" (mother of Tony's child) has plastered herself all over another site claiming her email and facebook, who all just wanted attention from the media. "Bonnie Lynn" has made herself out to a victim herself by Tony, however, she kisses his butt when she wants child support or even a babysitter from his family, but she is now all of a sudden ready to take him down?? Hypocrite is what she really is. Calling and texting his wife to find out the REAL story so she can be the center of attention is the lowest any civilian can be.

This has nothing to do with any of you (ex's). This has to do with his wife, children, his home, and his family.

Rumors are always going to happen with a story like this comes out. I feel bad for the victims girlfriend, who has also had numerous altercations as a couple. No one knows the story of what happened before he even left the parking lot of Walmart.

I would like it if the mother and her kids would feel safe again in their home, rather than getting death threats from the victims girlfriend.

@uneverknow77 This comment is beyond incorrect and warrants a slander and character defamation suit.  Unless you were physically there which obviously you were not, i'd be really careful what you say about people in an open forum since it can be used as evidence against you!  NEVER has his ass been kissed for child support because he only makes one payment every six or nine months just to keep des off his back.  NEVER has he been used as a sitter, the child in question whom i'm sure will really look up to you one day, only saw him on scheduled days and that was IF tony could fit it in his busy schedule of traveling and getting tattoos and pedicures.  I only tried to get the facts, when they were not provided to me i went with whatever the news and the reporters stalking my house said.  None of which were from the ONE website i commented on.  Unfortunately all of our kids custody battles with him are public record and since I am the only one of the mothers with a land line in her name it wasn't hard for them to find me.  I have NOT blasted him, said he was guilty, or granted any interview requests.  This effects ALL OF OUR FAMILIES and we don't want any part of it, it's bad enough he is being accused of taking the life of another but the victims family cant undo any of this, not to mention the kids who all have to live with this for the rest of their lives.  Your immature comments and slayings say way more about your character than mine.  This is a time of mourning and you are making it a high school fight! Please keep me and my family out of your mouth!  Thank you! Love, one of the many mothers out there that gets to deal with this nightmare

@enesmom I agree with everyone else. Yes I do know Tony so don't think that I do not have the right to say what I want. It doesn't matter that this is a public site or not, people have the right to talk about anything they want. Plus when anyone (not naming names) puts an email account and says that they also have a facebook account in their name (basically putting them self out there). This is not even close to a high school fight as the way you want to put it. There are hundreds of people out here who are just praying for the right justice to be set on him. It doesn't matter who thinks that he is a great man and who thinks he is a horrible person, it is everyone's civil right to think what they want.

@uneverknow77 It's just such a shame that a woman who is owed child support has to kiss the butt of the baby daddy.

No, this doesn't have to do with Tony the Thug's wife, children, home and family.

It has to do with the family of the man he brutally and callously murdered in cold blood.

But I do agree that making threats to Tony the Thug's family is not appropriate at all, other than making the mistake of getting involved with a thug, they aren't responsible for him being a thug.

ptcgaz

@marcy who cares about the Thugs family. It's not about his family, it's about the man who was run over. PERIOD. End of the story.

Tony the Thug has a previous arrest for aggravated assault.  While the case was dismissed it makes it clear that Tony believes that violence is how you settle problems.  He likely comes from a home where his father had similar anger issues.

BTW, the order of protection was from someone who is more likely a girlfriend.

He also has child support orders related to two other women plus a spouse.

A thug breeding, what a shame.

The charges need to be upgraded to first degree murder.  It was premeditate, deliberate, deadly weapon.

The thug's wife already had an order of protection out against him so he apparently not only runs people over with his vehicle, he also likes to threaten women.  Scumbag needs a needle in his arm.
