The Human Rights Coalition, a grassroots group that fights against law enforcement abuses, No More Deaths, an immigrant-rights group, are among organizations continuing to sound the alarm about abusive agents.

Officials from Customs and Border Protection -- which oversees the Border Patrol -- simply continue parroting their standard comment about the agency's taking seriously its commitment to humane and lawful treatment of all people taken into custody.
