"Murdercopa County" Has Some Hometown Pride Locked Up in Jail Right Now

Browsing through the "Mugshot of the Day Leader Board" on the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office website always brings a surprise, like the Sunday booking of Vicente Valles, who has the City of Tempe logo tattooed on his chin, and an Arizona State University logo on his cheek.

It kind of reminded us of Moses Ulloa, the man who has the City of Glendale logo tattooed on the top of his head.

Lo and behold, on the other side of some marginally attractive woman on the MCSO's leader board, there's Ulloa and his Glendale pride again.

It was hard to see what all of Ulloa's tattoos said after he was booked for meth possession in March, but now it's clear that aside from the gigantic Glendale logo on his head -- as well as "Bullet Proof" on the side of his head and horns on his forehead -- he also has "Murdercopa County" tattooed on his neck.

Ulloa was booked on the exact charges he was popped for in March -- dangerous drug possession, marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, transportation theft, and possessing burglary tools -- so it's more likely than not that he's jailed on a warrant.

We're still trying to find out exactly what Valles did to win a trip to Hotel 4th Avenue, although the stuff on his face -- including the ASU and Tempe logos -- apparently are real, since most of the ink can be found in prior mugshots.

The City of Phoenix logo isn't too uncommon to see among the gangsters and wannabe gangsters in MCSO custody, but Tempe and Glendale appear to be rarities.

When someone starts keeping it real with a Sun City logo, we'll officially call this a trend.

Until then, Valles is being jailed on charges of kidnapping, assault, and criminal damage. If it's remotely interesting, we'll pass that information along when we get it.

UPDATE: Valles was arrested for a domestic-violence incident. The only interesting part is that a woman actually wanted to date him for four months.

Meanwhile, here are the big mugshots:

The City of Glendale design means Ulloa is a Grendale gang member (city of Glendale) who has committed crimes for his avenues gang which earned him the keys to the city. Keys are respresented by the city of Glendale patch. These gang members are career criminals and dangerous people that have no business being allowed to roam free in our communities.

Was Moses on his way to play polo? You gotta love it when a dude with crappy tats on his face feels confident enough to wear a collared shirt.

I see Valles as a typical ASU fan before I see him as a gangbanger or a convict. Just sayin

Could anyone explain to me why anyone would tattoo their face?  I mean, if you are a criminal, wouldn't you want to be unrecognizable?
