A 2010 "suicide" in Queen Creek has now been determined to have been a staged suicide, and Orange County, California divorce lawyer Robert Fischer is the one accused of doing the killing.

Fischer -- not to be confused with the Scottsdale man of a similar name who blew up his family -- is accused of shooting and killing 49-year-old Norman "Lee" Radder at a Queen Creek home on December 30, 2010, and was arrested by Orange County Sheriff's deputies on a grand jury warrant a couple weeks ago.

Fischer, 52, was brought back to Maricopa County and jailed on Wednesday.

Our colleague Matt Coker of New Times' sister paper O.C. Weekly got the tip that Fischer was arrested, and we got the court documents to find out what happened.

According to the court documents, Fischer called 9-1-1 and said the man had shot himself.

Fischer "did not recognize the victim to the [dispatcher], deputies or investigators," court documents state, which is a problem, since investigators say they've known each other for 14 years.

Fischer told investigators he was in another room sleeping, while the court documents state that Fischer must have been in the room where Radder was shot, since Fischer had blood spatter on his clothing.

Furthermore, the gun was in Radder's right hand -- he's a lefty -- and more blood-spatter analysis confirms the scene was staged, according to the documents.

The gun also belonged to Fischer, and told investigators he was "uncertain" if he touched or moved Radder's body.

O.C. Weekly says a friend of Radder told them that Radder was actually the husband of Fischer's stepdaughter, although no motive is mentioned in the court documents.

O.C. Weekly adds that Radder was an editor and photographer for Mx Rider, a dirt-bike magazine, and co-founded an information-technology company in Irvine, California.

Fischer was arrested at his Orange County home on May 2, and has been charged with one count of second-degree murder.

He's a divorce lawyer, not a criminal lawyer. No wonder he was busted for murder.

When does an attorney become an asshole?  Right after he leaves the room.

Have some stones and put your name on this crap, or are you really Mr. Yourproductsucks?

Probably shouldn't refer to a 14 year old commenting as Mr.
