State Representative Doris Goodale's Kids Popped for Heroin Trafficking

The Kingman Police Department wrapped up a three-month investigation into heroin trafficking last week, leading to the arrests of five people -- two of them children of a state legislator.

Michael Randolph Goodale, 27, and Stephanie Lynn Goodale, 31 -- both of whom call Republican state Representative Doris Goodale "mom" -- were hit with four felony drug charges a piece.

According to Kingman police, the investigation was centered on people bringing "substantial amounts" of heroin from Las Vegas to Kingman to sell to dealers and users.

Michael Goodale and three of the other people arrested were popped near Highway 68 in Golden Valley as the buyers and sellers were meeting, and Goodale's identified as one of the alleged buyers of the heroin coming from Vegas.

His sister was arrested at a house in Kingman.

Police served search warrants on two cars and a house owned by Representative Goodale and her husband -- where the son also lived -- and some unspecified drug evidence was picked up there.

Cops recovered a half-ounce of heroin, $6,000, and two cars from their haul.

Representative Goodale's husband, William Goodale, is a member of the Kingman Unified School District Board.

The Goodale kids won a trip to the Mohave County Jail, and face charges of possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and trafficking in narcotic drugs.

we are very active in SB1377, which is legislation to notify communities and schools of drug use and sales so everyone is aware of the problems with drugs in our schools. The bill has been sitting on Doris Goodales desk since last April. She stopped the bill from going through the education committee...wonder why?

Who has any credibility in the state legislature? And THEY are making laws that put non-violent people into Arizona's mass industrial complex?  No help in reforming AZ's draconian mandatory minimum sentencing laws, so her kids should be sent to prison for life like ALL the others. Wake up legislators, you offer nothing for the youth in Arizona but destructive life styles with no way out. Until your children are affected nothing will change.

Arizona's Repugs are going down a septic tank. Don't be surprised if the next one "popped" is a Republican. They are criminals in their own right.

More causalities of the stupid drug war.  Hopefully this influences Goodale on the merits of these stupid laws.  But I don't have much hope.

What's interesting here is Mom's 2010 campaign finance report, which shows she paid son Michael $550 from her Clean Elections kitty for "sign installation."  His day job is shown as a surveyor for Carlton Surveying.

And daughter Stephanie helped out with installing Clean Elections-funded signs, also.  Mom paid her $255.  What's sort of scary is that her occupation is shown as "Day Care Assistant" for employer "Bottles 2 Buses."

Her children need to be treated like everyone else that have been sent into Arizona's prison hell-holes for life. Then she can work on how to solve the problem along with all the other parents who go to the state Capitol to have their voices heard, only to be ignored.
