Depending on which half of the sign you read, you may be more likely to be investigated for voter fraud.
Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has a new excuse for his "employer sanctions operations," after the boys in beige ran the 59th immigrant roundup this morning, and we'll give you a hint -- it still has little or nothing to do with sanctioning employers.

Arpaio says deputies raided Circle B Grading & Hauling Inc. in the west Valley this morning, and Arpaio's concerned that these people are voting.

He's apparently serious about this, as Arpaio claims he's turning over the names of everyone involved in "these cases," i.e., immigrant roundups, to the county's election department.

"ID theft is a growing concern in a number of US states as people fear that illegal immigrants may use these false identities to register to vote in elections where they legally have no voice," Arpaio says in a press release. "To determine if there is a problem here, we are going to continue to turn over the names of everyone involved in these cases to the Elections Department to verify that this is not happening."

That trend starts with eight of the nine Circle B employees who were arrested this morning, whom the sheriff believes -- for some reason -- may have high rates of political efficacy.

The other "benefit" of the employer sanctions operations, Arpaio says, is that the arrest of the employees allow those jobs to open up for legal citizens -- which is an old one in regard to the roundups.

"In many cases illegal aliens are stealing the identities of U.S. citizens to gain employment which contributes to our unemployment problems," Arpaio says. "Given the state of our local and national economy, this should not be tolerated."

Arpaio has not yet ordered an immigrant roundup at the White House, where he also believes an immigrant with false paperwork maintains his illegal employment -- the guy who works in the Oval Office.

The arrested-immigrant total through 59 "employer sanction operations" is now at 614.
