Alleged four-time child molestor Devon Anderson.
Sex offender Devon Anderson allegedly told police he "fights the urge" to molest kids by meditation.

He apparently forgets to meditate quite often, as Phoenix police say he molested two 4-year-old girls at a public library -- his third and fourth alleged molestation victims.

According to court documents obtained by New Times, the mother of one of the girls phoned up the cops last week after her daughter said a man had touched her inappropriately earlier that month at Phoenix's Saguaro Branch Library.

Just three days later, police got another call from the father of another 4-year-old girl, saying he saw a guy in the children's section of the library kneel down and whisper something in his daughter's ear.

The man had whispered "inappropriate comments" to her, according to Phoenix Police Sergeant Trent Crump, although the girl didn't disclose that to her father until after he confronted the man and eventually left the library.

After police discovered a sex offender had used his library card to check out some books around the time of one of the incidents -- and witnesses identified him as the guy in a photo lineup -- Anderson became the suspect.

Considering Anderson's a sex offender for molesting a 5-year-old girl at a Bookman's store, as well as molesting a 2-year-old girl after sneaking into the backyard she was playing in, police were able to check out where he was since he has to wear a GPS ankle monitor as part of his probation.

Sure enough, he was at the library.

Confronted with the first incident, Anderson claimed he never goes into the children's section, but then admitted to police he did go in there -- but only to talk to "a little girl about a book she was reading," court documents state.

Anderson then told police his meditation story, claiming that he meditates every day -- sometimes up to five hours -- to "fight the urge" to molest kids.

"He said he may have forgotten to meditate on Saturday," police say.

Once police confronted him with the second molestation, Anderson said he wanted an attorney.

Anderson was booked into jail on two counts of child molestation and a probation violation.
