Now I see a video of someone who identifies herself at Lucy Babeu and she is saying pretty much the same stuff that has been posted all along. It appears to me that Paul is using whatever he can to do damage control. He denied he is gay, until it became apparent that he was lying. Now he says he is gay and apparently proud of it. Okay, I guess. That doesn't mean any voter has to like that he is a gay man, nor does it mean that any voter has to like that he is an apparent liar who will say whatever is needed to be said to satisfy the public. The implied threat toward Jose seems apparent to me. Shame on Paul Babeu for using his knowledge and position as an elected official to try to quieten Jose and put him out of "business". Yes, Ona, it's far past time for Paul Babeu and his mentor from MCSO to leave office. Immediately. I can only imagine the relief the officers at Chandler P.D. are feeling these days, knowing Babeu is no longer there.

• the comment posted by PBCliberal suggests that Lucy's credibility might be "impeachable", as he puts it.  this is based on the dossier of information he says was put together by the sheriff to discredit lucy. just a reminder.  everybody who's followed this sheriff's exploits is familiar with all of lucy's posts on the various blogs about her brother, the sheriff, and the entire babeu clan. remember to keep the focus on the sheriff please. he's the one here who's been caught with his pants down.  also remember that it's because of Lucy that anyone even knows that the sheriff had a chink in his armour.  which, has turned out to be no armour at all.  she began more than two years ago trying to alert everyone.   he's just hot air with a badge and a gun.  a bully, like many others in law enforcement.  not all, but many.  note that over time, one by one, lucy's revelations are proving to be fact.  no doubt there will be more, and it will go deep into the  dysfunction of the  entire babeu  clan.  just like more than two years ago when lucy began to reveal these truths about her brother and the family, not a soul wanted to believe a word.  know that, in time, all of damaging information put  out about Lucy in that dossier will be proven to  be all lies, crafted and manufactured by Lucy's family members in conjunction with corrupt public officials in her home town.  sounds impossible right?  just like it sounded impossible two years ago when she tried to  warn us about her two brothers paul and shaun.  it will be shown that Lucy is the only right-minded functioning Babeu in the family.  she's the only one who's gotten professional help for what hasw happened to her in that family.  they all don't want to be exposed by her.  obviously, with the sheriff's glass housing crashing down around his  feet, he must use all his available professional and political connections to try and discredit his sister by whatever means possible.  of course, being a politician, we know that he will lie without hesitation.  Lucy has always said that he is a liar.  so perfect that he's in politican then, because all POLITICIANS LIE.  they always lie when they get caught, and they will keep lying to the very end. the idea that the sheriff tried to blame lucy for what jose did is the clearest insight of what kind of person the sheriff is.  caught redhanded in the lie he will now try to serve up  Lucy on a platter of lies  manufactured  just for this occassion he hoped would never come to  the  fore.  the neccessity of  having to admit his homosexuality, hypocrisy and other family secrets. Lucy Babeu is none of the things that are detailed in that dossier.  she is not a drug or alcohol abuser.  she is not mentally ill.  she's the kind of parent that many wish they could be.  it is some of her other siblings who are drug and alcohol abusers and take drugs for their mental problems.  the sheriff has yet to seek help.  his now public, backroom behavior, acting out, is a product of him not getting help.  we cannot continue to have someone so sick as a public official representing us. i think in the end Lucy Babeu will be shown to be the  most credible Babeu.  this is not the first time they've attempted to silence her.  Lucy Babeu will not be silenced.  her truth will be heard.  keep watching everyone.

• This guy acts like a sociopath and psychopathic liar. Watch some of the interviews from the last couple of weeks. Evasive double-talk. The charisma of a male hustler. There's no way he should be making life and death decisions over other people. Matt Heinz needs to account to the public next.

• In PCSO, Babeu has surrounded himself with a coterie of deputies of dubious repute, including some evidently selected for their very faint resemblance (it being Florence, you gotta take what you can get) to Tom of Finland models.  (He learned everything he knows about the justice system from Tom of Finland.)  He's in the habit of referring to these favored men (they're all men, obviously) as "studs."   He often says, in his own defense, that he's one and the same person in every situation.  As a general matter, that's so wildly false as to border on delusional, but in this case it's true.  He literally applies the same evaluative terms to subordinates on the job as he uses when he's trolling for sex.  So sure, the subordinates are gonna make jokes.

• Analysts working on border security and immigration policy have long been familiar with what's called "the Babeu constant."  Any time Babeu cites a number, the rule of thumb is to multiply it by 0.5 to get the true value.  So if he says 100 illegal aliens were arrested milling around his back door, the true number is probably 50.  If he says he owned 10 houses in MA, the true number is five.  Etc.  So if he says a certain widely advertised item is 7 inches long, most likely it's really 3.5.  Which might explain his strenuous he-man posturing (the most masculine man in the world) and his often-expressed fear that President Obama poses a threat to his genitalia.  Not crazy about that, huh?

• Time to quit calling Studboi a republican.  He changed his party from GOP to NAMBLA with the Penile County Recorder. An amusing anecdote:  I saw a friend from the PCSO that investigated my son's stolen car and actually apprehended the U.S. Citizens that stole it.  He said that the PCSO deputies will toss the term Studboi out as a way of giving each other a hard time.  Not a HARD time he emphasized, just a hard time.

• As part of the damage control the Babeu campaign allegedly produced a dossier on Lucy (http://bloximages.chicago2.vip.townnews.com/azstarnet.com/content/tncms/assets/v3/editorial/f/db/fdbaf9e8-6238-11e1-aea9-001871e3ce6c/4f4d1bba11ed3.pdf.pdf ) and circulated it to reporters to try and blunt the criticism and obscure the source. It tried to deny the charge of "homosexuality" by simply including it in a laundry list of wild charges, for example: "Lucy has blogged and called Arizona media outlets alleging that her brother, Paul Babeu is gay and that he has molested young boys while he served as Headmaster/Executive Director of DeSisto Boarding School in Massachusetts." But what that did was simply to point reporters to sources that had far more potentially damaging information. Even though the sister might be impeachable, the information was easily corroborated. It was like pointing the reporters to a powderkeg and handing them a lit match. The deeper the hole gets, the more franticly the Babeu campaign digs. It reminds me of the song: "I know an old lady who swallowed a fly,' In the Babeu version: "They introduced Lucy to hide Jose, they hid Jose to disguise he's gay.. ...when it's all said and done, there will probably be enough material to parody the whole song.

• It's the end of Babeu's political career as we know it.  He might as well move to SanFran after this.

• How low can you go. Blaiming all this on his sister? Come on. The lies just keep getting bigger and bigger.

• Sheriff Babyboo's cover-up squad actively attempted to have any comments that exposed Paul's secret life removed. Any comment on AZ Central over the past year or so that suggested Paul should come out of the closet were promptly deleted.  The Arizona Republic does not actively monitor its comment site but relies on viewers to bring inappropriate comments to their attention.  Rarely do they respond with any haste.  Yet comments mentioning Paul's double life would be deleted within minutes. There was an active coverup by Paul's team, likely lead by his trusty sidekick DeRose who apparently is paid well to cover up the truth.

• It's worth emphasizing that DeRose and Babeu couldn't have just been confused about this.  They both knew all to well who Jose was, and that the comment in question was posted by him.  They blamed the sister because they were still, at that point, lying to the press to hide Jose's existence and Babeu's homosexuality, and she made a convenient scapegoat.  One wonders what other lengths they went to, and what other lies they told at her expense.  Pathetic moral idiots, both of them, and it's time for Babeu to go.

• I think if Paul wants to call Lucy mentally ill he should also question his own mental stability. Who in their right mind post pictures, texts naked pictures of themselves to people they don't know and then asks for discretion. I have said all along, all LE should have annual psychological evaluations. He is LE and POST certified unlike the other fool Sheriff in the area.
