Should Gabrielle Giffords Run For Congress Again?

• Sort of like Cheney moving to Wyoming so that he could run for VP.

• I voted yes. My reasoning is that if she wants to run again, I am not going to stop her. IF she decided she didn't want to run again, I would back that too. Whatever the case is she is a good public servant. She works for the people and is not like a lot of the corrupt fools that represent people here in AZ.

• I am a died in the wool, liberal as hell Democrat and I love Gabby Giffords.  But her brain damage prevents her from performing her job adequately and I highly doubt she will ever be ok again.  She needs to step down.

• Gabby impaired is ten times better than Junior Potatoe the ever sanctimonious Franks, or blockheads like Gould and Baboon.

• Agreed, the best therapy is to get back to her interrupted life as soon as possible. Focusing  on returning to what she loves IS focusing on her recovery, in my humble opinion...

• I voted NO simply because I think she has already given more than most folks would in thirty years of service. I don't see any need for her to put herself once again in harm's way for another freak like Loughner, and yes, they are still out there. Volunteer, Gabby. And enjoy your life.

• I agree with you Haddie.  She should concentrate on healing.  My gosh, she was shot through the brain a year ago.  I feel she has made remarkable progress and can continue to make more without the stress of  being in congress.  I wish her well with whatever her decision will be.............................

• Actually that's a good idea.  He'll have to move here, but there's a lot of moving going on now, so that wouldn't be out of line either.

• I would like to see her hold off on running this time around. She has made remarkable progress, but she still has a long way to go.  I can't see interest in her going away just because she's no longer in Congress.  She can run again in 2014 and very likely win.

• Gabby Giffords, even in her current condition, is a better Congressman than most other members of Congress.   As she continues her rehabilitation, she will make herself an even more important representative for Tucson and SE Arizona.

• In her current condition she makes Raul Grijalva look like a mental midget. I don't see why she couldn't run again, based on that assessment alone. She meets the prerequisite requirements established to run for office and has every right to exercise those rights. This poll is more insulting and 'dumbed down' than most of the tripe peddled here.
