Christian Turcios, Alleged Kiddie-Porn Star/Church Janitor, Almost Beat Child Molestation Rap -- Then Cops Found His Video Collection

• In 2010 my son was introduced to this guy by a friend who's Mom thought he was a good young kid. I told her that a 23 year old is not a kid he is a man.  I thought it strange that a young MAN at 23 was hanging out with 12 year old boys. As a single mom I skate and longboard, basically every sport my son does I have introduced him to so I thought it was weird that this man would go to the skate park but didn't skate???  Went to the park but didn't participate in tag or throwing the football around.  I asked my son to invite him for dinner so I could get to know him and he declined, he always had an excuse that he had to be at the Lions Den or he had a fight.  He picked my son up and the boy that introduced him to Christian from school, while school was still in session and allowed them to ditch and took them to the park.  Thank Goodness Desert Shadows Vice Principle called as soon as the next class started and my son being a good student his teacher noticed right away he wasn't in his seat.  I knew where he was and exactly who he was with, Mothers intuition.  Called them and told Christian if he ever came near my son he would see his last days and now hearing all these crimes I regret not calling the police on him.  He was very nervous that he was going to get in trouble and now I know why. Men that don't have children and aren't involved in the sport themselves and they don't have a history of mentoring kids like with the boys and girls program or fingerprinted to work with kids have NO business being with young boys/girls. I might be a pain in the butt at times to my son but we talk about everything and I want to know all his friends and try to get to know the parents of these kids he hangs out with.  These sick people are everywhere. I don't care if they say they work at a Church and are a Christian or do MMA fighting, all that means nothing. Christian strait up wasn't right and I had red flags immediately.  I feel horrible about all the kids that were hurt!!!!  I also know Highlands Church and First Assembly plus another church that don't do enough, if any back round check on the people that work with kids.  They think if they come from money or want to volunteer their time then that's great.  I learned that first hand.  There are a lot of sick people that go to church to prey on weak people.  Parents and brothers and sisters, pay attention to who is around you.  Ask a lot of questions and listen to your sixth sense.

• Sad to say I knew him as well. Even sadder is my son really thought a lot about this guy and looked up to him as a very trusting,caring person. Never will know what compels a person like this to go down such a sick and twisted path at an early age....The whole thing is just wrong...no one can be blamed but Christian himself and he will rot in hell..where he deserves to be.

These people (predators) are everywhere.  They are your next door neighbor, your uncle, the bus driver, your childs teacher, and the nice kid that volunteers his time at a church.  A church, a school, a camp, the Boy Scouts, etc CANNOT know what is TRULY in the heart of someone posing as something they are not. Child predators disguise themselves as good people to earn your trust and your childs trust.  Sometimes it takes a very long time of them "grooming" their victims before they make their move, and they LOVE families that are vulnerable and lack good communication.  The 2010 charge against Mr. Turcois would NOT have shown up on a background check because the charges were dropped. He victimized the staff of the church too. PARENTS: BE ONE THE FRONT LINES OF THIS WAR - educate yourselves on predators, then educate your children EARLY!!  Keep lines of communication open. Use the tools kids give you!  Get on their facebook.  Follow them on twitter and tumblr.
