Antony Wheeler: "head bouncer"/alleged panty thief.
An alleged panty thief is off the streets -- but only after allegedly assaulting his ex-step-daughter, sexually abusing his ex-wife and, of course, stealing her panties.

Antony James Wheeler, the "head bouncer at a nightclub establishment," has been arrested on domestic violence-related charges three times in the past few years. On Saturday, he was arrested again.

According to court records obtained by New Times, on January 7, Wheeler was staying at the Scottsdale home of his ex-wife as he recovered from kidney stones.

His former bride had taken Ambien -- a powerful sleep medication known to cause hallucinations -- and was passed out in her bedroom.

At some point in the night, Wheeler creeped into the woman's bedroom and started fondling her genitals as she slept.

Additionally, he used a camera on his cell phone to take pictures of himself feeling up his ex-wife.

When the victim woke up -- much to her surprise -- her ex-husband was in her bed with her.

The ex-wife asked Wheeler what happened when she was asleep. Eventually, he told her about the groping, and even showed her the photos he'd snapped with his cell phone.

The two began to argue, at which point the victim's 16-year-old daughter went into the room to see what was going on. Wheeler, court docs say, pushed the girl, causing her to hit her head on a piece of furniture on her way to the ground.

She wasn't seriously injured -- which is a particularly good thing considering the girl suffers from a congenial brain condition that's required her to have multiple surgeries over the last two years.

Wheeler's ex-wife didn't immediately call police. She did, however, block him from calling or emailing her after he repeatedly tried to contact her multiple times a day.

Early Saturday morning, about 1:30 a.m., Wheeler went to the victim's house and started banging on the door and windows.

Later that day, Wheeler's ex-wife called police.

Authorities had the woman place a confrontation call (a call monitored by police) to Wheeler. During the call, Wheeler admitted to abusing the woman -- making excuses as to why it happened and apologizing.

Because they didn't know where Wheeler was living, police had his ex-wife invite him to her house, where he was arrested Tuesday night.

Once he was in custody, police searched his vehicle before towing it. They found a loaded Glock .45-caliber handgun, a loaded magazine, and an expandable baton in the trunk of the vehicle.

In the glove compartment, police found a pair of panties belonging to the victim. Wheeler claims she gave them to him. The victim, on the other hand, says he stole them.

Wheeler was booked on one count each of sexual abuse, unlawful recording, assault, and disorderly conduct.
