To all who posted links to videos thanks. I watched both videos. The videos released were edited. The worst part of the whole thing is once they get him in the "safe cell" he was already unconscious. Yet NOT one of those cowardly fucks hiding behind badges and tazers bothered to even see if he was ok, and then they left him to die in the cell. What pieces of shit. BTW 10 V 1? what are the odds for the one man? What about when all 10 have Tazers?

RIP Marty, My heart goes out to all the people who loved and knew him. He did not deserve what happened to him. I only hope that his death wasn't in vane and that something will finally be done, to put an end to the abuse that goes on in Arapaio's jails.

Been there and done that with MCSO... I have copies of the tapes they edited on my situation where they cut out what the witness and the attacker said and then lied about not having the audio tape back up to compare the video's too.

The audio tapes MCSO said just happened to get destroyed and all that was left was their edited video that was missing chunks of times.

I didn't know Marty and I can't imagine how those who knew him and those who loved him felt after watching this video. My heart goes out to all of you. Arpaio had to see this video before he played his games this week with the media, all the while having seen what was done to this man and completely keeping his mouth shut about it. How can anyone watching that video justify that in the end that man died? I expected him to be more agitated and aggressive and couldn't justify it for those reasons, but to see him stand up against a wall and fold his arms and then be attacked by so many, and then tasered on top of it, and the last part of the video - watching them walk away as he lay there dieing is heart wrenching.

On ch 12 they said that MCSO released 8 hrs of video from 26 different cameras. They want to hide what happened in a pile of stuff that has nothing to do with the event.

I posted a link to the ch 12 version. Seems from when he was placed on the floor of the cell and had the taser shined on him, he didn't move for 9 minutes, and then the came in to try and bring him back to life.

I agree it looks very edited. They talked about his unstable walk, but I didn't see that, no one around him looked fearful as he got out of the van. What I didn't see is anyone in imminent danger from this man, he was not punching, kicking, hitting, etc. He was killed because he didn't obey a command? What they did show was disturbing and seeing him at the point where they still had a taser shining on him as he lay looking lifeless on the floor and they all just walked away.

ive seen and heard first hand what goes down in the jails..how i know is not important, just know that its fact that they ALLOW other inmates to nearly beat to death inmates the guards just dont like (one was in the news months prior for killing another one, and under the same guards watch he nearly killed another...while in a lock down part of the jail..bs), and the Norberg case was just an atrocious example of how murders of inmates is not only ignored, but condoned! Want more proof? As Joe why he has never filed a slander suit against the creater of Arpaio.com, which details the many deaths in the jails...im sure the sue happy sheriff would have went after him if it werent true, yet he has done nothing..wonder why. I could be impatial, if it hadnt become an MO over at MCSO to hide and destroy evidence in deaths at the jails EVERYTIME in the past. Furthermore, why should i believe MCSO would conduct a fair and impartial investigation when they NEVER investigate their own (unless caught by another LEA first..then their hand is forced), especially when it comes to the deaths...doesnt that strike you as odd at the very least that violent deaths in the jails have gone univestigated?
