Will Russell Pearce Escape Today's Recall Election With His Job?

• Sounds clear to me. Anyone that was hoping for a loss of Republican power in Arizona, is deluded. Get it?

• She's no doubt talking about those that it can be proved, are on the dole, and often illegally. Admittedly there are filthy lazy whites around too, unfortunaltely. But they are citizens and have roots here. Would you advocate the same contest between lazy and industrious Mexicans in Mexico?

• Dream on Alicia52. We have too many traitors and morons to understand any of what's going on. 

• It's going to take me a long time to understand it, because it's barely coherent. Isn't it interesting how the "Speak English!" crowd can barely do so themselves?

• I'm White, Irish/Italian/Portuguese and I absolutely cannot stand Pearce and his gang of mentally sick GOP miscreant buddies. The ONLY thing Pearce is made to be is an unemployed drunk with a long history of corruption and malfeasance in Arizona. Do us all a favor. STFU and GTFOOH.

• So, Mormon's have given up power in Arizona but Republican agenda continues unchecked! Ha ha take all the time you need to understand this!!!!

• This is a win win for Republicans. If Pearce wins great! We get to rid ourselves of illegal browns. If Pearce loses, great! A district with a lot of illegal browns and mormons drops out of power in Arizona but still votes Republican!

• Vet, please don't forget that Horne is playing by the party rules and he won't change unless he is facing criminal charges or loss of employment. He 'owes' a lot of folks in the Republican party and you can bet your soul they remind him daily.

• I have already rented a Hummer for that very task, with a very short tow rope. I thought at first about a F-150, then realized the sack of manure being removed was much bigger and stinkier. I will agree, pearce has not the character or charisma to exit as a gentleman, having been beaten. In fact, I heard recently that he had been refused entrance to an exclusive Washington D.C. dining club, even though he was in his best suit and being 'sponsored' by a college football organization. I can only guess that his reputation precedes him.

• Agreed, you get an AG willing to get indictments on these criminals and you watch how fast the rest shape up and play by the rules.

• Nice post!  While the Pearce camp has their "retirement" party the rest of us will be having a "don't let the door hit you in the ass party"!

• I stand by my post. No matter how wide a margin he loses by, Pearce will have to be dragged, kicking and screaming, from the Capitol. To do otherwise would require Pearce to have a sense of decency and decorum, something he knows nothing about.

• Horne needs to go also, probably before Brewer.  He has completely failed to adhere to his job duties, while playing the party tune and refusing to get involved with anything to do with fellow Republicans..

• If the recall is successful (and I believe it will be), it's going to be a very large and loud message to the Legislature and Governor that they must become responsible to the people of Arizona, not any one party. Given the shit storm Gubnor Clicky Teeth created over the Redistricting Commission, I'm ready to start a 2nd recall against her as she has absolutely no respect for will of the voters.

• I'm more optimistic. As we saw from the recall process there are a lot of very angry voters in LD-18 who are wanting to get rid of pearce. You can bet most of those folks are talking to a lot of others and sharing their thoughts. The stadium debacle that pearce hosted was very telling. In the big picture he had almost no one show up for the event to show support for him, and most who did show can't even vote in the district. I fully expect Mr. Lewis to win by 10% or more.

• Patriots for Pearce is hosting a retirement party for Russell tonight.  The highlight of the party will be a new game that is kind of a cross between horse shoes and Pin the Tail on the Donkey.  They will pin cardboard cut-outs of Jerry Lewis on hay bales and commence with the competition in "Nail the Winner in the Groin with a Padlock".  On the menu will be Humble Pie, Sheep Stew, Roasted Crow and lots and lots of whine.

• As of 7:45 Pearce has poll watchers @  LONGMORE ROAD BAPTIST CHURCH and koolaid drinkers just outside the 75 foot limit. Fortunately, you can park inside the limit and avoid the lies - er,  talking points. 

• You can bet, if Pearce loses, he will try every slimy maneuver he can think of to avoid stepping down.                                            BYE BYE BLZBUBBA!

• I think it will be very close, probably close enough for Pearce to demand a re-count, but I think he will, in the end, be taking a hike, and preferably hiking far enough to be looking for the Lost Dutchman.

• Only about 11 more hours left of Pearce!!
