What you Goobers don't get is that he said nothing in his answer. He tap-danced around the question regarding whether Obama made a correct decision. He said nothing, over and over again, other than "he (Obama) should have found out more about what the opposition was like before he made his decision." When asked if Obama had looked hard enough he said "I don''t know because I don't have access to the information." And when asked, if he would have made a different decision, he said "I don't know." So you have someone who criticized the President's action, but couldn't say specifically why it was a bad decision or what he would have done differently. Herman Cain is a man who was successful selling pizzas. That's commendable. But there is considerable difference between selling pizzas and serving as chief executive of the most powerful nation in the world - the one in which the chief executive is followed around by a military officer carrying a brief case that contains nuclear launch codes.

We have seen examples of people who made lots of money and who enjoyed success in their careers who believed that their skill set would transfer successfully to other endeavors. Kinda like Charlie Wrigley. He was great at selling chewing gum. Not so good at making decisions that impacted on the operation of a major league baseball team.

What is sad about the current set of GOP candidates is that the ones who are the most thoughtful and knowledgeable about the world are marginalized (Paul and Huntsman). The others seem to be pandering to two very different masters at the same time - big business and the Tea Party.

I disagree with Sarah Palin because she is a shallow, cynical opportunist who found a great way to make lots of money off her doting followers without actually having to run for office. That's just about the same way I feel about Herman Cain. He'll make a wad off the publicity he gets from "campaigning." He won't get the nomination. And he shouldn't. He obviously doesn't have a strong background in matters that are rather important to this country - such as Uzi-beki-beki-beki-stan and Libya.

Like Colin Powell? Condaleeza Rice? They were two very talented and capable black Republicans who achieved high status in government and I don't recall either being called nigger or whore by the opposition. Nigger is a word that YOUR side of the aisle is prone to use, usually when you think no one else is around to hear it.
