Phoenix Election Officials Will Unveil The City's Next Mayor Tonight
For those of you who haven't, today is the day.
Don't forget that Phoenix is now using voting centers, which have replaced the traditional polling places.
The Maricopa County Elections Department, which is running school district elections in Phoenix, however, is still using those traditional polling sites.
A little confusing, yes.
And it means that some Phoenix voters will have to make two stops, but
city officials say that using polling centers saves taxpayers' money.
Phoenix residents can hit any one of the city's 26 voting centers to
cast a ballot until 7 p.m. today to cast a ballot for mayor and two City

In the mayor's race: Wes Gullett and Greg Stanton.
City Council District 1: Councilwoman Thelda Williams is defending her seat against challenger Eric Frederick.
City Council District 5: Brenda Sperduti and Daniel Valenzuela are vying
for the seat vacated by Councilman Claude Mattox when he ran,
unsuccessfully, for Phoenix mayor.
