Gabrielle Giffords Speaks in Preview of Monday's Interview With Diane Sawyer *VIDEO*

Gabrielle Giffords and husband Mark Kelly speak to ABC News' Diane Sawyer.

The much anticipated interview with Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords -- her first interview since getting shot in the head during the January 8 Tucson shooting -- is set to air Monday night on ABC.

It remains unclear how much viewers will see of Giffords in her current state -- her staff says it's "not a full-length interview." Today, though, ABC released a preview of the interview, in which Giffords speaks with Diane Sawyer and her husband, astronaut Mark Kelly.

Additionally, the clip shows some of Giffords' recovery.

She'll never be all there again. What's the purpose of parading her out so people can watch this painful and unneeded show. I'm sorry but getting shot in the head doesn't make you a hero nor does it make you able to put in the long hours in Congress. They'll use her like a circus monkey if her and her husband allow it.
