Vice President Jan Brewer? The Arizona Republic Seems to Think it's Possible

Vice President Brewer? FML!
Vice President Jan Brewer?

If you just spit out your coffee, you can thank the Arizona Republic, which recently suggested the aforementioned absurd prophecy in one of its "Political Insider" posts.

Check it out here.

From the Republic:

"[Brewer] is also being touted as a featured speaker at a Republican women's conference in mid-November in Washington, D.C., along with other GOP heavy hitters Sarah Palin, Condoleezza Rice and Michele Bachmann.

Brewer is using her speaking circuit to continue her crusade against illegal immigration and lash out at the Obama administration, among other things. So while it may sound far-fetched, maybe it isn't a surprise some political blogs have started throwing her name around as a possible vice-presidential candidate."

We're not even going to bother editorializing about why this can never happen, or how if it did, we'd be on the first train to Canada.

We'll leave it up to you to decide: could Jan Brewer really be a possible vice-presidential candidate?

Of course, that's the plan so those who prop the Governor up can take "control" of America.

Isn't there more important business that you shold be focusing on for the citizens of Arizona?

This is great news! A Republican ticket included Jan Brewer would ensure an Obama reelection.

Maybe she should resign today so that all of the candidates know that she is available.

I haven't heard of any presidential candidates looking for her endorsement.

Cain/Brewer would be a perfect match to re-elect Obama. Keep it up GOP!

So who becomes govenor when she runs for VP or does she not have to step down unless she gets elected.  Cause is she were to no longer be in charge of the state and failed to become president, it does kinda seem to be win/win

The Republicants are one trick ponies, we all know that - cater to the wealthy and powerful - that's their schtick.    "Ideology follows the money." In Defense of Chaos: the Chaology of Politics, Economics and Human Action, L.K. Samuels.

However, IF the people invoke their franchise to vote - they can overcome this money advantage the Republicants have garnered.

Please people VOTE, register your acquaintances to VOTE, and encourage them to VOTE.  That is the one thing that stands between us and the Anarchy of the Oligarchy.

BTW - I think the Republicants are so inept that the will do whatever it takes to make the most incompetent among them rise to the top.  It's called the Peter Principle states that "in a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence", meaning that employees tend to be promoted until they reach a position at which they cannot work competently. Plus it would be welcome relief to have that incompetent boob governor we have move to a completely useless position in the federal government, far, far away!

Dear Alien Space Invaders,Please come and pick up the white trash you left in my precious state of Arizona. I realize that planting them here is part of your plan to take over. It was very clever of you to leave human looking beings who exploit fear, hate, and humans tendency to self destruct, but please have mercy on us.

Yeah I'm just sure that GOP nominee (whichever asshat it turns out to be) would just love dealing with the press blowback when Brewer has to explain why her son is enjoying relaitve freedom in the State Hospital when he should be in prison for rape. It would make Palin's knocked-up teenage daughter look like a non-issue by comparison. Seriously, Jan "Pearce's Little Wooden Puppet" Brewer as VP? The az repulsive has no credibility left.

If some politico is really and truly "floating" her name as a possible VP candidate, it is for one reason and that is to fool the knuckleheads who look up to her into believing they respect that base element of the Republican electorate. The Tea Party enthusiasts who are either native to Arizona or who look up to all the crazy shit they have accomplished here (e.g., SB1070, guns in bars, 0 rating from the Brady Gun Campaign, etc.) are the same wingnuts who believe Obama is a secret Muslin, still think his birth certificate is an elaborate hoax, and are not yet convinced that the Trilateral Commission was not behind 9/11 and the Kennedy assassination. These are folks who pay real money to buy "books" by Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter and the multitudes of other conservative hucksters.  In other words, these are some of the most gullible people you will ever meet in you life. So it makes sense that some candidate will pretend to be considering as a VP someone who's sole debate performance is a national punch line, who was caught driving while loaded but skated by pulling the legislative immunity card, and who is as photogenic as a prune finger puppet-- and believe that the boneheads will fall for it hookline and sinker. The question is why a so-called journalist at the AZ Republic would think such silliness was worth a story.  As much of a joke as it would be, Joe Arpaio would stand a better chance than Brewer of being named as a VP.  It is only a matter of time before his name is likewise comedically floated, most likely by Joe himself.

they don't need credibility with their base.

these days anything that pisses off a "liberal" is assumed to be good for the country.

Jan has proven she does not control her voice.  An easily controlled politician is ideal to these people trying to push an agenda on us.  She would make a willing and obedient pawn, and for that they would embrace her.

What a funny title, no she will NOT become the Vice. We do not need potential war criminals or drunk whores in office

It does fit right in with Russell Pearce's education program.  All you need is a GED to be  Governor with potential advancement to Vice President.  Then we would be just one nutcase away from a GED President.  Who needs school?  Russell was right.

Gerry, Russell is always right. If you don't believe it, just ask him. He mentored The Fonz in days gone by.

Right you are Tommy.  I saw a video of Russell on a Fox program talking about how he had researched and read all the notes and documentation regarding the debate that our "founding fathers" had when they wrote the 14th Amendment.

Glad it was days gone by.  Happy Days would not be the same in this generation with the Fonz stretching a flag shirt around a pot belly.

Brewer , Palin and Bachman , should form their own party.." THE STUPIDS "  maybe they would get votes from morons...The 3 of them will be ready to be Pres and Vp in about 50 years...

I think Brewer should run with Herman Cain.  That way the GOP could sink into oblivion for ever.

Can you even begin to imagine the horror show a Bachman/Brewer administration would be? Wonder how long it would take these two to put on the first Rose Garden Catfight. With their obvious mental instability, you know it would be just a matter of time before they came to blows.Of course, all the late night comedians would be in heaven.

Brewer is on a "Speaking circuit?"

Kind of like Pearce being a keynote speaker at a NAACP event.

Tommy Collins
Tommy Collins

Yes. She is traveling to and fro, over yonder and dale, telling whomever will listen, "This is what I has did... I is a governor, you see, a very impotent person...."

A linguist, she isn't.

Imagine having that clown out representing the good people of Arizona. My friends in Colorado just shake their heads and laugh....

AZGregory

Have you see footage from Tea Party Express rallies? Brewer would instantly move to the top tier of the speaker hierarchy. This is a group of deep thinkers who featured Joe the Plumber on their grand cross-country tour in 2010. A guy who opposed Obama's middle class tax breaks because he planned someday to have his own plumbing business and eventually make more than $250k (for now he works for a real plumber cleaning out hairballs from sinks.) For Brewer, being unable to string two intelligible sentences together or to think on her feet (like remembering her opening statement at a debate) will not be a hinderence with the target audience.

She is surely an embarrassment to Arizona.

Truth be known she is an embarassment to humanity, every functioning governor in the U.S. and certainly Arizona.  I have many friends who have been disenfrancished, cut from insurance (ALL DISABLED) due that sleazy individual's [bitch's] actions.
