• The 53% of Americans that pay taxes have started their own movement and here is their page; http://the53.tumblr.com/ Please read the stories and ask yourself if the hard work and the pay-off for it that people write in about are conditions that still exist today for the majority of Americans.  Most of the articles I read about the 53% create lies about the 99% occupying wall st etc.,  These movements are being distorted into hate each other situations by the media.  The 99% and the 53% need to agree on what it will take to get the 99% into taxpaying category.   Lots of people are still plenty detached from the facts of life facing many of our workers or want to be workers today.  This a.m. I was listening to news article about farmers not being able to get workers to do their harvests and how this will put them out of business.  The attack on the unemployed was manifested - stating that people on unemployment do not wish to work and would rather keep receiving their checks.  Well this is once again a form of mischaracterization, lying.  Why would an unemployed person get cut-off from their unemployment for a 6 week harvest paycheck?   Doesn't our own rules of unemployment require that the applicant have 3 months of steady work on a job before they can apply for unemployment?  And if that paycheck was for a pittance, wouldn't that pittance be used as the basis for their future unemployment?   Or, if after a 6 week harvest there is no more work then they have no more pay and do not qualify for unemployment.  The statement was made that illegals do well on those jobs but now they are afraid to come and work them.  (There is a huge network that aids illegals to know of jobs, get to them, and house them when there and that network is not available to citizens.)  Most unemployed people that I know do not longer even have permanent residence, internet, phone or transportation.  They have no way to learn of job openings timely unless they live close to a job center, employment business or government job service.  They are now trying to manage their lives while living by the graciousness of others whose sensibilities and needs they must make first priority of rather than their own needs.  Even a simple thing like going to the bathroom or taking a shower is now something that they must be extremely careful about so as not to offend whoever is letting them sleep on their couch.  Abuse and contemporary forms of slavery are rampant due to this problem but the media still incites hatred.  Employers have no need to accommodate job-seekers who don't even have a cell-phone or e-mail account.  Nope, the media will help you to believe that these people are all lazy losers, pond scum, entitlement brats, trailer trash and whatever other words they can use to imply sub-human parasite status so just don't you bother your brain about them because they aren't worth it. HATE is a drug just like heroin and meth.  Don't take that drug.  JUST SAY NO!
