Joe Arpaio Either Forgot He Was Asked to Attend Paul Babeu's "Fast and Furious" Press Conference, Or Somebody's Lying

• The substance of Babeus investigation leads me to this statement: This is Paul Babeus attempt to Distract from Joe Arpaios criminal enterprise. DOJ did not "Attack" Arpaio they (INVESTIGATED) him, apparently Babeu does not understand the difference. That being the case Babeu should also be investigated for being an idiot. It's high time Arizona stopped suffering such complete and utter Idiots. Children, curb your grand parents already, even if you have to do it with a leash, just to keep them away from the voting stations.

• Speaking of taking away jobs from Americans...do you have any idea how many once good paying jobs have now gone to prisoners in the private prisons? Nike, Walmart and Target all admit to hiring inmates for jobs that pay an average wage of .25 cents an hour! Whats even worse is many of these same companies spend millions lobbying for stricter laws and longer sentences..hmmm..wonder why???

• Perhaps Arpaio did not get an invitation because the other sheriffs needed to make their pronouncement in Phoenix where it would have the greatest impact but wanted to keep it unstained by the presence of useless "Sheriff Joe".  These other sheriffs have more integrity in their little toes than Arpaio has in his whole wrinkled body.  Even Babeu is an improvement over Crazy Joe.

• I believe Arpaio was sent out this weekend to rattle the sabers and stir up the anti immigrant sentiment as much as possible before Pearce's recall election.  Hence, why Arpaio "forgot" he was invited to speak with the other county sheriffs here in Maricopa County on friday.  Arpaio had his marching orders from his money man and chief string puller, Chuck "CCA" Coughlin. Funny thing though, Arpaio's playing it safe.  Of 92 arrested so far, only 23 are suspected illegals. Hmmm, only 25%?  That's down CONSIDERABLY from his previous rates of 50-75%. What's up with that Joe?!!!   Hahaha...it's all just more PR farce...Arpaio has sold himself and the MCSO to special interests.

• So typical of Libs and Dems to misconstrue things this way.

• WTF does it matter?! There was a miscommunication somewhere. Arpaio SHOULD be chasing cleaning ladies, landscapers, etc., and anyone ELSE who is illegal. Doesn't matter what they do or what they mask as. They are taking jobs away from Americans! 

• The thing to remember is "1,500 guns that ended up in the hands of Mexican drug cartels thanks to the federal government". Joe doesn't matter. You should be screaming for Obama's head. But instead, you are playing politics. Shame.

• You referenced dog pile.com which is just a site like google.com.   How about a specific reference regarding all of these figures like millions of firearms sold to mexican criminal gangs.   No one's going to read every article, did you?  How about one article by what writer?   50 million weapons are being sold..by who and when?   Are they all being sold today or last year or when?   You're throwing a lot of unsubstantiated claims around.   Long sentences don't make for any proof or even any evidence.  I'd like to read it if you'll tell us where to find it.   As far as gun control being relaxed, I don't see that either.  Proof or evidence...where?

• The law against Joe Arpaio lying to the press? WTF are you talking about?

• Isn't the Baboon a proud NRA member.  That's the group that says "guns don't kill people, people kill people" .  Not defending the idiotic FF program but there is no doubt that the killings would have taken place without those guns as the cartels have tons of weapons.  Just pointing out that they want it both ways.

• Is this law Racist? Does it specify brown people? Are the people who agree with this law racist? Are those who want this law enforced racist? The law says nothing of little "brown" people but it explains what is illegal entry. It's not very hard to understand. Why is this law "broken"? Why can it be selectively ignored? Illegal alien includes all people who entered illegally, could be Croation, Russian, Chinese, Irish, Canadians and yes even Mexicans. No one single race or people is referenced in the law. Under Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code, "Improper Entry by Alien," any citizen of any country other than the United States who: Enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers; or Eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers; or Attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact; has committed a federal crime. Violations are punishable by criminal fines and imprisonment for up to six months. Repeat offenses can bring up to two years in prison. Additional civil fines may be imposed at the discretion of immigration judges, but civil fines do not negate the criminal sanctions or nature of the offense. These people cost Pheonix and surrounding cities hundreds of millions to support the education, health and welfare of these illegal immigrants. A landscape worker paid by cash (no taxes) and his wife (a stay at home mom), have been here for 16 years and had 7 children born in the US. Who do you think paid for her medical bills???

• One good reason that Shurf Joe won't attend is that it's Babeau's conference, not his. Joe has a bit of a problem with sharing the spotlight with others.

• This really doesn't make a lot of sense. Why would nine sheriffs from across the state take the time and expense to travel to Maricopa County to have a press conference denouncing a federal program that went sour? Babeu can accomplish the same by simply sending out a press release written by his press goober. Why aren't our county sheriffs concentrating their efforts in the counties they are responsible for? Yes, I completely understand the enormity of the lack of intellect involved with a program such as "Fast and Furious"... As managers these sheriffs need to stay in their counties and try to keep some of the weapons involved from harming citizens or their officers.. not grandstanding against the federal government.

• It was also a tactic used by Arpaio when he was a federal agent.  It is quite a common tactic to try to map the criminal enterprise and has been used countless times in the past in different forms.  Check out the dogpile.com for "mob filtration by federal agents"  and you'll see all sorts of examples of federal agents engaging in illegal activities in an attempt to infiltrate the criminal organizations.  What the opponents of President Obama don't reveal (and thereby lie in the telling) is that there are over 50 million weapons which are being sold and trafficked by arms manufacturers and gun shops and weapons dealers in the US to criminal organizations around the world (not just in Mexico) and this "push-back" on fast and furious is an attempt to stop an effective tactic to find the evidence which could be used to prosecute American citizens who are involved in the trafficking.  That's why the gun nuts are going "nuts" over the story.  Of the millions of guns being sold to Mexican gangs, I can guarantee you that many examples can be found of those same weapons being used against U.S. Citizens and federal agents.  Those examples won't warrant the attention being paid to the one example of a fast and furious gun being involved in a crime because that would focus attention away from the shiny bauble being shown to the American people.  "Look over here - no, don't look at the millions of guns being sold to Mexican cartels by the 1,000s of traitrous US Citizens that fast and furious was attempting to catch." President Obama has loosened gun controls in this country - not tightened.  Fast and Furious is a common infiltration tactic used by law enforcement to ferret out the rats in our society.  The reason no one in law enforcement wants to discuss the details is because infiltration depends on secrecy and I'm guessing a lot of this information is classified or part of a criminal investigation.  The agents pushing this anti-fast and furious are jerks and should be fired, jailed or worse.  We need to stop the flow of dangerous weapons into the hands of dangerous people!!

• Mental illness in the elderly takes many forms. Dementia is perhaps the leading form of mental illness and can be displayed in many ways. Overactive imagination, forgetfulness and untruthfulness can be signs of dementia, leading to more severe conditions. The MCSO sheriff is mentally ill, in my opinion.

• Funny how Babeu will totally rag on Obama like he has done on various national radio shows about Fast and Furious, yet doesn't mention the fact that the Bush administration was doing the exact same thing.  Talk about a hypocrite!

• I say ARRPie hole is both - He is a senile liar. I also feel you are being too hard on this senile liar after all this gathering was for sherriffs wasn't it ? It wasn't for self-promoting media whores, who love to be the center of attention. Oh wait,Baboon was there,well nevermind.
