Testimony continues this morning at the Thomas/Aubuchon/Alexander disciplinary hearings at the Arizona Supreme Court in downtown Phoenix.

Andrew Peyton Thomas: Career in tatters
Lisa Aubuchon, a onetime top assistant to former Maricopa County Attorney, is expected to take the stand at the hearing in an attempt to save her legal skin.

She and Thomas are facing possible disbarment. Alexander, whose brief stint as a deputy county attorney was notable mostly for what she didn't do, i.e. work on cases, is looking at a potential suspension.

if her past behavior is any indicator (her recent failed attempt to win back her job as a deputy county attorney), expect Aubuchon to be evasive, verbose, stubborn and, ultimately, pathetic as a witness.

Testifying yesterday were Yavapai County Attorney Sheila Polk and a law professor from New York.

The latter said that a RICO lawsuit filed by Thomas' motley crew against the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and the county judiciary was so bad that he wouldn't have given it a passing grade had it been submitted to him as a class exercise.

More later on what transpires today.

The DOJ is in no postion to do any investigation due to their utter lack of justice within themselves.   They've done nothing but ignore criminal conduct within the federal government that has been blatant and treasonous.   The DOJ is treasonous itself by not fulfilling it's duty as a branch of the federal government.   Not only that but they have also been complicit in their own criminal activity as they stop on the constitution and the rights of the American people.   I suggest you look for help from within yourselves because you'll not be getting any from them or any other branch of the federal government.

If anyone listened to the RICO Expert from New York who spoke yesterday, essentially giving ALL lawyers an education in the RICO law, one would believe the entire Maricopa County Attorney's office was not only ignorant of the laws, but FAILED IN EVERY WAY to do basic 101 research, investigation, gather facts, gather evidence BEFORE filing the charges that would destroy 16 defendants lives -- with nothing!! After listening to Deputy County Attorneys Peter Spa (yesterday) and Rachel Alexander today, this confirms the standard operating procedure of charging defendants -- using the media -- to convict. Nothing more than vindictive and malicious prosecution for political gain which starts with law enforcement and goes to the top.

It is time for the DOJ to step in and take "control" of Arizona's broken justice system that has destroyed many innocent lives, families, professions and their future. It is time to open up the 200,000 felony cases Thomas handled since 2005.  If they dared to do this to the top officials, judges, lawyers and county administrators, then what do you think they were doing in their "fast and furious" goal-to-convict of the "ordinary" people in Arizona?  This is shameful and a stain on the state of Arizona that will be it's legacy for ALL posterity!

Unlike Arpaio, Alexander comes off like she REALLY is clueless!

She worked for Godaddy for over a year and considered them a "software vender" and not a domain registrar?

Actually Parsons got his start selling software.

But did GoDaddy have a full time corporate lawyer back then?  That was her role at GoDaddy.

Rachel Alexander is an incompetent fool.. she did everything from twitter, facebook (social media) as well as write a few press releases among other "trainings"   Uhm.. what was her role?  I don't think anyone will really know... seems like she did have a role like Monica L.. or hasn't that been out yet??

Nothing but a 6-figure income (paid by the taxpayers) for blogging that raises questions of a lawyer/prosecutor commenting in blogs/writing about their "clients" or defendants with active cases in the courts. An investigation should be done on that alone.

Keep the pressure on ... full tap.  A parody of the "Whack-a-Mole" game, watching the testimony of various witnesses, there have been some very good ones, articluate in their responses who are smart enough to keep their heads down and breeze by the mallet.  Then there are others, the ones willing to stick their heads up and blow smoke.... WHACK!  We've seen a couple get really hammered and then, and rightfully so, their bloodied carcasses are further pummeled in the press!

I have an idea.

Let's just disbar all three idiots, bar them from reapplying for their law licenses for 20 years, and end this taxpayer funded circus. Too much money and blood has been needlessly lost in Maricopa County due to the Flaccid Fool and Candy Andy.

Remember Willenchik - the attorney who was involved in the PNT debacle?  Will he tesitfy?  I noticed he just got plastered on the front page of the AZ Bar's magazine as Attorney of the Month!

What are you talking about? He has never been named "attorney of the month" in the state bar's magazine. Neither the magazine nor the bar has such a designation. http://www.azbar.org/AZAttorne...

We need a County Attorney like Sheila Polk. She was very impressive on the stand.

We had a chance in the last election Felicia Rotellini, Voters elected Bill, instead. Now, it seems they have a do-nothing, know-nothing in office.... yikes..

Bill ran against Romley. :-)

Felicia was the better choice over Horne.

You're right. We could use a CA like Polk here in Maricopa County.

Too bad Maricopa County voters aren't that smart...

And a new and professional County Sheriff.

It will be nice to see them have to shed the blood of their leader

Every prosecuter in Maricopa county seems to be out for blood. Its just how that office works. I dont think there is any hope for anything different.

The prosecutors have forgotten their job description because they have gotten away with  NOT doing their jobs for years/decades -- precedent set -- systemic/endemic. How does this get corrected as Arizona continues to write laws to mass incarcerate its people for political and financial gain. Arizona's draconian mandatory minimum Sentencing gives they the weapon for "easy" convictions and to silence their clients for decades until they move on and up.  A truly sick legal system that has been uncovered for the world to see and ALL posterity. A case study that should be read by ALL studying law and the criminal justice system. Solutions:1.  Remove absolute immunity for prosecutors, judges and lawyers.2.  Form a state Sentencing and Criminal Justice reform commission consisting of professionals who are not lawyers. Bring outdated Sentencing laws into the 21st century.3.  Take the money out by reforming poorly written laws that guarantee huge obscene legal fees up front.
