The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office's Human Smuggling Unit arrested a U.S. Border Patrol agent last night as he was allegedly speeding down State Route 85 in possession of oxycodone and fake marijuana.

According to the MCSO, the HSU was patrolling a known drug-smuggling route when they bumped into Michel Atondo, who was seen doing 90 mph in a 65-mph zone.

Deputies stopped Atondo, who told them he was a Border Patrol agent returning to work after visiting some friends in Glendale.

That was kinda true.

MCSO deputies checked out Atondo's story with the Border Patrol. Turns out, he actually is an agent, but has been on "indefinite suspension" since April because of an ongoing Drug Enforcement Agency drug-smuggling case.

Atondo, apparently, was found in possession of 745 pounds of weed earlier this year.

When deputies searched his car, they found oxycodone and so-called "synthetic marijuana."

MCSO spokesman Justin Griffin tells New Times the amount of drugs found in Atondo's possession last night indicates that it was for personal use, and not meant for sale.

According to Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the investigation into Atondo's wild ride isn't over.

"Deputies also seized sensitive documents concerning Border Patrol activity in Southwest Arizona," Arpaio says. "My office will continue to work closely with the U.S. Border Patrol and other federal agencies on this matter."

Atondo was booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail on one count each of criminal speeding and possession of narcotic drugs.

No Mexican should be given a job in ANY security position involving guarding the border of the U.S. from potential Mexican criminality. You would think this would be obvious to a rational person, but of course, not to a government full of traitors.

Shocking that Arpaio didn't hold on to the case for the usual "one year under investigation" and wait for the perfect news day to arrest and expose this horrible event. Oh, wait, he is fighting for his job both in public and during the on going Thomas disbarment trial being recorded and available to the public on the Arizona Judicial branch website. The feds are watching and taking notes Arpaio, Sometime after the first of the year we should be seeing an even bigger press conference from the Feds.....

Is this law Racist? Does it specify brown people? Are the people who agree with this law racist? Are those who want this law enforced racist? The law says nothing of little "brown" people but it explains what is illegal entry. It's not very hard to understand. Why is this law "broken"? Why can it be selectively ignored?Illegal alien includes all people who entered illegally, could be Croation, Russian, Chinese, Irish, Canadians and yes even Mexicans. No one single race or people is referenced in the law. Under Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code, "Improper Entry by Alien," any citizen of any country other than the United States who:Enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers; or Eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers; or Attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact; has committed a federal crime.Violations are punishable by criminal fines and imprisonment for up to six months. Repeat offenses can bring up to two years in prison. Additional civil fines may be imposed at the discretion of immigration judges, but civil fines do not negate the criminal sanctions or nature of the offense. The language is pretty clear to me.

Narco drug terrorists infilitration of the Border Patrol (La Migra) and most notoriously the MCSO is nothing new. They just need to perform extra screening of potential Hispanic/Mexican applicants, seeking these positions.
