GOP Presidential Hopefuls Should Ask Joe Arpaio About His Elvis-Themed Panty Parties

Presidential hopefuls (allegedly) want to talk to Joe Arpaio about immigration. They should ask about some of his other passions, including the Elvis-themed panty party he threw at his Tent City jail earlier this year.
According to Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio's ghost-"tweeters," at least two big-name Republican presidential hopefuls have sought his input in the past few days regarding "immigration and other matters" -- and Arpaio's lovin' the (alleged) attention.

According to Arpaio, over the weekend, he "received phone call at my house from TX. Gov. Rick Perry. Had a great conversation especially about immigration and other matters."

Apparently not satisfied with the caliber of his Twitter-town name-dropping, about three hours after the "tweet" about Perry, Arpaio's ghost-"tweeters" subtly bragged the following:

"Interesting day Saturday, received call from Gov Perry. 3 hours later received a call from Mitt Romney's campaign official."

Arpaio also has claimed Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann has sought his guidance in preparing for a presidential campaign.

Before jumping into bed with America's self-proclaimed "toughest sheriff," the out-of-state presidential hopefuls may want to chat with the aging law-dog about some of his other passions: reality TV, jailhouse Elvis-themed panty parties, inmate coloring contests, and other regional humiliations that have become staples of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office under Arpaio's rule, and earned Arizona the top spot in a recent ranking of the worst states in America.

Given the sheriff's history when it comes to exaggerating encounters with well-known politcos (remember that "meeting" Arpaio had with Vice President Joe Biden in 2009? And how -- in reality -- that "meeting" consisted of the sheriff showing up uninvited to a hotel to shake the veep's hand?), we contacted both Perry and Romney's campaigns to find out if these conversations actually took place. They didn't immediately get back to us, but we'll let you know when they do.

I do not believe a single word of this. Why would these very powerful men want to get advice from this old has-been? I guess he needs to make people think he is in with these guys because he is coming up for election next year and needs a new gimmick. It is time for a change. We need someone younger and knows how to follow the law him or herself so he or she can do a good and fair job.

Sherrif Joe is one of a few law enforcement individuals who understands a simple fact: "illegal immigrant" = an individual who is not in the United States legally. Being that the "illegal immigrant has broken our Federal Immigration Laws and entered the United States through illegal means, he / she is subject to a crime and as such, he / she is subject to deportation. Is that difficult to understand?

It's like living in a bad grade B movie, a nightmare that I cannot believe is happening.

Hmmmm.... so why would a validated presidential candidate seek the opinion of a nose picking, fat, mentally ill old man.

Nope, I don't buy this latest pack of lies for a NY minute.

Unfortunately, they are all cut out of the same cloth -- called wolves in sheeps' clothing.

It's OK if you add an extra letter to Bachmann's first name.  Her parents should have named her MicHELLe anyway.

Yea, Bozo Joe Arpaio is a real legend in his own sick, demented, senile mind.

Anybody who lays with dogs gets fleas. In the case of the Flaccid Fool, a dead campaign.

I always thought of them in a different light, but only slightly... a candy coated feces filled M&M.  Seriously whenever I see pompous politicians I always think of the Oranatang Senator and his missus in "Planet of the Apes" (Mark Wahlberg edition).
