Fox News to Celebrate 15th Anniversary in Phoenix (Nobody Tell Joe Arpaio)

Live from Phoenix October 20.
Governor Jan Brewer's BFFF is coming to town...

Next month, Greta Van Susteren -- Jan's number one gal pal -- will broadcast her show, On the Record With Greta Van Susteren live from Phoenix as part of the Fox News Channel's 15th anniversary tour.

It could have been worse, Phoenicians...much, much worse; we could be Boston, Atlanta, or Chicago -- those cities will get visits from Bill O'Reilley, Sean Hannity, and Neil Cavuto, respectively.

The tour kicks off on Monday, with additional stops in Orlando and Las Vegas.

A Fox News spokesperson tells New Times Van Susteren will broadcast her show live from the Arizona State Fair on October 20.

Van Susteren and Brewer have long history BFFF-ship.

After becoming the darling of the Conservative movement after signing SB 1070 and taking on the Obama Administration, Brewer appeared on Van Susteren's show, like, every other night for about six months for a little girl talk.

In other words, we'd be shocked if Brewer isn't one of Van Susteren's guests.

We'd be equally shocked if Arizona's resident publicity hound, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, doesn't do whatever he can to hijack the show with some of his fruitcake sheriffin'.

The sheriff, as you may know, has a tendency to make a scene whenever he knows the eyes of the nation are on his county. Take, for example, this year's Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

The show is open to the public -- no tickets required.

You might want to learn how to spell before you slam...it would lend a little more credibility to your "reporting." It's Bill O'Reilly, not O'Reilley.

As a resident of Boston for more than 12 years, I found this insulting.

Boston is a great city (way better than Phoenix) with more to see and less corruption than Phoenix.

Expect the M\F chain gangs to be picking up used corn dog sticks and other trash around the midway, the mounted posse in the parking lot, that wierd deputy and his offroad buggy along with the self propelled howitzer "tank" on display near the exhibtion hall, and several animal control vehicles with Joe's photo painted on, here and there..-Have I missed anything?

The Big Dig wasn't exactly the smartest project ever constructed.

Former Senator Kennedy's drunk driving thing... I thought that happened in 1969. I could be wrong.

Who's Savatore DiMasi?

Boston is a good city for tourism and sightseeing. If anyone's crazy, it's the Tea Party.
