Three games into the 2011 NFL season, and the Arizona Cardinals aren't off to a great start -- they're now 1-2 following a 13-10 loss to the Seahawks in Seattle yesterday afternoon.

Cards quarterback Kevin Kolb passed for 252 yards in the loss, but only managed to find the end zone once with a 12-yard touchdown pass to Larry Fitzgerald in the second quarter. Seattle's secondary shut down Fitzgerald for the remainder of the game.

"There were a couple miscommunications, but that happens sometimes. Obviously, we need to clean that up," Fitzgerald told reporters after the game. "This is a tough place to play. You have to tip your hat to Seattle. They played very hard, they played strong. They had a good defensive scheme, they got some pressure on us. They caused us some commotion back there."

The Cardinals defense managed to hold the Seahawks to 261 total yards, but it was enough for 13 points, which was enough to win the game thanks to the Cards' offense's inability to score.

Seattle went ahead late in the first quarter with a 30-yard field goal by kicker Steven Hauschka. The Cards tied it about four minutes later with a 40-yard Jay Feely field goal.

The Cards went ahead 10-3 late in the second quarter with Fitzgerald's touchdown, and that was the last time the Cards scored.

Following Fitzgerald's touchdown, Seattle outscored the Cardinals 10-0 for the remainder of the game. Another Hauschka field goal, and a touchdown run by quarterback Tavarias Jackson, put the Seahawks up 13-10.

As the Cards were driving late in the fourth quarter -- a mere field goal away from tying the game -- Kolb threw an interception with about a minute left in the game.

The Cards got the ball back with about 35 seconds left to play, but were unable to get into field goal range.

The Cards host the New York Giants next weekend. For more info on the Cardinals, click here.
