Morning Poll -- TSA Titty-Twister Yukari Miyamae: Hero or Hoodlum?

Yukari Miyamae. Hero?
Yukari Miyamae is a 61-year-old Colorado woman arrested last week after turning the tables on a Transportation Safety Administration agent -- she gave her a titty-twister after refusing a security screening.

Now, the debate is on: is Miyamae a hero or a hoodlum?

For those fed up with getting felt up every time they try to get on an airplane, Miyamae has become a bit of a folk hero. Some are even comparing her to Rosa Parks.

Others feel Miyamae committed a crime, and the sexual assault charge on which she was booked into jail is justified.

Facebook pages supporting both sides of the debate already have been formed (find links to both here), and supporters of Miyamae are raising money to support her legal defense.

We want to know what you think: is Miyamae a hero for turning the tables on the grab-happy TSA, or is she a criminal who assaulted someone whose job is to keep the public safe?

It's disturbing to see the willing slaves rally around the TSA and criticize anybody who stands up against abusive government agents. Some people really worship the state and happily swallow whatever it feeds them.

Hey D-Bags that think that pushing back on TSA is cool, Did you forget 911? I want the peace of mind knowing that every idiot fucktard that gets on a plane has  been correctly screened so my kid makes it to Disneyland in one piece and that his last memory wont be of "Im going to die in a plane crash."

TSA employees don't make up policy. They are following the rules for security that have been established by the TSA to try to keep bastards from carrying stuff on planes to kill us. To assault a TSA employee because they frisked you as part of their job, is the same as punching out the person at the US Airways counter who says you have to pay a charge for your baggage. It is not okay to be a dick to someone who is doing their job. In fact, it is a pretty good rule of thumb to not be a dick to anyone. You can figure out a better and even more creative way to express displeasure with a government rule than twist the titty of the employee carrying it out. Stay classy Phoenix.

Simple solution.  If you don't want to go through the security screening like a civilized human being, don't fly!

What she did was illegal......should she be punished for it..........NO! Especially with a sexual assualt charge and then having to register as a sex offender.  She did what a lot of people I'm sure want to do. Nobody wants to get felt up by the tsa employees.  People want to fly and go places and they are willing to give up a lot of things for that freedom.  That is the problem but also the solution.  The people can change things they just have to want to and not just complain about them and do nothing.

Every time I see the word "hero" under her picture I can't help but picture her saying "hello" in Engrish.

She is a hero, plain and simple and should be treated as such! Give those idiots of the TSA a taste of their own medicine lol. www.web-anon-tools.us.tc

What is your fix to the system?  We slaves don't want to arrive at our destinations in a body bag. So while your ripping hits off your bong and listening to Ron Paul on You Tube remember there a few of us that fly quite frequently and understand that since 911 it is a price that we will pay for the freedom of not having our ass blown up on a plane!!!!

The GSA has twice criticized Homeland Security for performing zero assessments of its airport security procedures to determine if they accomplish anything at all. Security experts including Bruce Schneier call the TSA "security theater" that accomplishes nothing other than putting on a show. Of course, the TSA and its procedures do something -- they abuse us all.
