Professional athletes beware. Scottsdale doesn't mess around when it comes to DUIs.
Former
Diamondbacks first baseman Mark Grace, after his arrest for drunk driving yesterday, joins the ranks of several prominent sports stars who got their crunk on and then get caught cruising the streets of Scottsdale.

In honor of Grace's lack of sobriety and common sense, below is a brief history of professional athletes who got popped driving hammered in the tony Valley city.

5. Coco Crisp

Oakland Athletics' outfielder Coco Crisp was arrested in March after police spotted his car weaving in and out of traffic lanes.

But Crisp didn't stay cuffed for long. According to his team, he was booked and released in time to play in a spring training game against the Cleveland Indians later that day.

4. Nikolai Khabibulin

Last February, Edmonton Oilers goalie Nikolai Khabilbulin was booked after cops caught him drunkenly speeding though Scottsdale about 1 a.m. in his black Ferrari.

While Khabilbulin was at or only slightly above the sobriety limit of .08, he was charged with exceeding the speed limit by 20 miles per hour. He was going 70 m.p.h. in a 45 m.p.h. zone.

3. Jerramy Stevens

Free-agent wide receiver Jerramy Stevens found himself on the wrong side of the law when he was arrested on charges of "extreme" intoxication in March 2007.

With a blood-alcohol content of .20, Stevens admitted to police he'd had a few Margaritas.

2. Mike Tyson

Before his silver-screen comeback and taylor-made TLC personality makeover, Mike Tyson was a blood shot-eyed former heavyweight champion, slurring his speech from the driver's seat on the side of a Scottsdale road.

He was caught drinking and driving in December 2006. Cops pulled him over after he almost ran into a squad car leaving a club called Sugar Daddy's about 1:45 a.m.

To make matters worse (or better, depending on your comedic standpoint) cops found three bags of cocaine in his car. He was booked and held at the Maricopa County's Fourth Avenue Jail.

1. Charles Barkley

When it comes to DUIs, Charles Barkley's takes the cake.

The basketball star was arrested in December of 2009, in the midst of a mad dash to recreate the best "blowjob" he'd ever had.

According to the police report, Barkley, who blew .149, told the police he ran a stop sign because he was in a hurry to meet up with an acquaintance.

"He told me that he ran the stop sign because he was in a hurry to pick up the girl I saw get in the passenger seat," the arresting officer wrote in his report. "He asked me to admit that she was 'hot.' He asked me, 'You want the truth?' When I told him I did, he said, 'I was gonna drive around the corner and get a blow job. He then explained that she had given him a 'blow job' one week earlier and said it was the best one he had ever had in his life."

Barkley did 36 hours of jail time in Tent City after getting sentenced to 10 days. He also was ordered to pay more than $2,000 in fines.
