Mesa Firefighter Appointed to Phoenix City Council

• Here it comes - Sal DiCiccio will now say that the union is taking over city council and this guy is the latest plant. So when Sal blows a blood vessel, he now has his own personal paramedic right there - union label and all.

• With his background in ethical studies, maybe he can investigate Phoenix Fire Department hiring practices. Unless, of course, his career in Mesa was also helped by some old-fashioned nepotism. How many other firefighters show up in those three generations?
