This guy stole an $86,000 Rolex from a Scottsdale jewelry store. If you know him, call the cops.
If you happen to know the man pictured to the right, and he's wearing a shiny new Rolex, call the cops -- it's stolen, and it costs a hell of a lot of money.

According to the Scottsdale Police Department, the man to the right stole an $86,000 Rolex from the Ben Bridge Jewelers store in the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall earlier this month.

The suspect walked into the store and asked an employee to remove the watch from its case so he could see it. When the employee handed the watch to the suspect, he grabbed it and ran out of the store.

Not the most complex plan, but it worked -- the suspect got away and remains on the loose.

Police think this man may have been involved in the theft.
According to police, nobody saw which direction the suspect ran, and no vehicle was seen.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-20s, about 5-foot-9, and 160 pounds.

The Rolex is a Presidential Platinum Oyster Watch with a diamond encrusted bezel. The value of the watch is $86,000 -- a price nobody should ever pay for a stupid watch.

Anyone with information about the theft is encouraged to call the Scottsdale Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.

The store employee should be on the hook.  If you look at the suspect pictured, there is something VERY OBVIOUS that should have made the store employee skeptical and cautious.  It is pretty clear that a young man (20's) wearing an Aero Post shirt (valued $15) is not in the market for a $86K watch.  I understand that clothing is not always indicative of an individuals net worth, but in this case it is a clear red flag.

this black man is more proof to never trust a clean cut short haired male no matter what skin color they are. 99% of male crimes are committed by clean cut short haired males. just look at any big city police mugshots for proof. they use that clean cut look to deceive you and to hide the evil that lurks inside their dark souls. women watch out for clean cut short haired males. they also beat up rape and some times kill women and molest children.

Snatch and grab will get you a light sentence, far smarter that having or faking a weapon.

But not nearly as risk free as pilfering the MCSO pink undie fund.

May be unrelated but Vegas Pawn in Scottsdale does have a very similar watch... can't be too many of those running around.

So if you are planning to commit a crime you should grow out your hair, don't shave for a few weeks, and look generally scrubby and then clean yourself up afterwards? Good to know.
